When everyone seems to be out to make the most money off the guy next to them, along comes Paul Montalvo. Not only did he discover and remove the "OH so many t...hreats" on my computer at work, he did it for a VERY fair price. I would highly recommend Paul to anyone needing service on their personal or business computers. Thank you so much! See More

I have been involved with many events over the years, but I can not remember one as influential, emotional, entertaining, fun, great food and two guest speakers that left everyone in the room not only emotional but energetic. PCTS would like to thank David Triana and all those associated with their support for One Hopeful
Place!

This Conexion Media Group event was held to raise funds for One Hopeful Place. It was a great success and we thank all our sponsors and especially the attendee...s for taking time to come and support it.

We thank our keynote speaker Dan Vega for an outstanding presentation and for bringing his team to our area. Thank you to our two great performers, the inimitable Reid Soria and a new singer in our area who sang some great Rancheras from Mexico during the activity.

We will soon announce the amount collected last night and with the Facebook Fundraiser that we also conducted towards One Hopeful Place.

More pictures will also be loaded to this album as soon as our awesome photographer, Alexander Rea can provide us the link to the site he will upload them to.

Special thanks to Patricia Rojas and her son Diego, of Chile Lindo Food Truck in Pensacola, for traveling over to FWB to bring their delicious ceviche and empanadas. Likewise to Carmen Argueta Yacaman Castillo and her father who traveled all the way from Panama City to participate!

Lastly, thanks to Paul Montalvo and Donna Montalvo, the OHP Fundraising Committee leaders for their hard work to help with our event and for getting those outstanding silent auction items.

These pictures are from my cell phone.

Here's Paul Montalvo, of Professional Computer Training & Services and co-chair of the OHP Fundraising Committee, presenting to the Emerald Coast Exchange Club.... Paul shared information about One Hopeful Place and what the One Hopeful Place Fundraising Committee is trying to accomplish. Oh, and who's that in the audience taking a picture....why it's Beth Ostroff, Executive Director, of Jobs4U, Inc. supporting her OHP committee teammate, Paul. What a great uplifting meeting and a wonderful group of people making a difference in our community. Thank you Emerald Coast Exchange Club for letting us share what we are trying to accomplish.

Painting with a Twist - Fort Walton Beach, FL is another business who has stepped up to provide a portion of the proceeds from an event. The event is Painting f...or Hope on Thursday, October 12th 7PM-9PM. Come out and paint, sip and have a whole lot of fun while we raise money for One Hopeful Place. You can go on-line to their website to register for the event. It can be done as a couple, two separate canvases when you put them together it's one picture. Or, do the entire picture as a single canvas. You can register for either one as both versions are posted. We also plan on having giveaways and a 50/50. So many ways to raise money for this great cause! Tickets are $45 and you can sign up for the event on the Painting with a Twist website - just look for the date and the event is listed. As co-chair of the One Hopeful Place Fundraising Committee, I am grateful for the businesses that have scheduled events to raise funds for the campaign. So far we have: Giovanni's One89, Conexión, Painting with a Twist - Fort Walton Beach, FL, and Destin Commons.

However; our committee needs volunteers to help with our different events between now and December. If you would like to volunteer your time, please contact myself or the FWB Chamber of Commerce, thanks for all your support! Friends of One Hopeful Place

Started the day at 6:30am at the Kiwanis Club of Fort Walton Beach, FL Charity 5K run to benefit One Hopeful Place. We had over 130 runners/walkers and raised a lot of money to help children, women and men down on their luck. What a great way to start the day! Friends of One Hopeful Place

From trash to treasure-literally! Check out my new wastebasket designed by Jobs4U, through their store Just4U on Green Acres in Fort Walton Beach. It use to be an old computer monitor. You can see if you can score 2 or 3 points when you try to throw something in the wastebasket when you bring in your computer for some work!

Happy birthday to Paul. He is our great friend and computer guru. For his birthday he did something he never did before. He took apart a monitor that was probab...ly made before he was even born. He gutted it and now that it is all empty we will make him a trash can for his office. We were amazed at how much copper they used to use as well as glues and screws. It was a lot of fun. We will keep u updates on the trash can creation as it progresses.
