EMPLOYEE OF THE WEEK: Part Four
Office Manager and Mom: Linda Tomich
We have two questions today: 1. What is your favorite book/author?...
2. If you could go anywhere in the world, (free trip) where would it be?
I love this question, I guess you will be able to tell I am not too adventurous with this answer, since I have been there once already or maybe you would say I am very adventurous and a huge risk taker? Ha... But New York City! I absolutely love that city, always have, there is something in me drawn to it. The one time I went, I went with my granddaughter Jaida, as she had a Dance Competition there. It was beautiful and what I always dreamed. I loved walking the streets as Jaida was in dance. I sat on a park bench in Central Park with a sleeping homeless man and thought of all the movies that were filmed there and also - hoping the homeless man was a morning person just in case he woke up. I did not get to walk the Brooklyn Bridge and have a slice of pizza in Brooklyn, but maybe someday. I do not like to do the touristy things as much as just exploring the city. I did go to church at Dave Wilkerson's Church: Times Square Church, something I always wanted to do - it was great!
And I would read my book "Redeeming Love" by Francine Rivers while I sipped coffee in some little, quaint coffee shop near Central Park. Francine Rivers is an amazing writer that brings alive God's love for anyone and everyone to understand.
Well, time to sign off. I am on vacation next week with family in town, so tomorrow can't come soon enough: the Office Manager and Mom; Linda
