I am so impressed to see my hometown doing such progressive work. Keep it up and you will have to hire traffic cops to handle the people flocking in.....

We are so proud to be connected to this great organization/network of such inspiring people across the great state of Nebraska. This video is a great story of what the Nebraska Community Foundation (NCF) is all about. NCF, thanks for all you do to help our community connect to other towns & dream bigger! And board members of PTECFF, thanks for investing your time in our community to make it such a great place to live, work & raise a family!

We use the tools of philanthropy to help towns across Greater Nebraska invest in themselves.

We help communities go from dreaming about what they want to become... to actually becoming what they want to become.

Some describe it as a network of communities.

Others a movement.

We are NCF.

Our Foundation board members joined together last night to celebrate the holidays at the new Pender Community Center. This group of fun, energetic & Community-minded people are so great to work with & have accomplished so much this past year! It was fun to celebrate in the Community Center, one of the many projects our group has supported!

The volunteer leaders in Pender and Thurston have their sights set straight on the future. We are proud of the role we have had to enhance our community - making our home a terrific place to live, work, and raise a family. We were chosen to be part of the Sherwood Challenge Grant in 2014 and we are working hard to build our endowment and strategically plan for our future. Check out the video to learn more.

We are very proud of our partnership with the Nebraska Community Foundation. The work they are doing to empower leaders across our great state is truly amazing. We love their new video - and it even features some shots of our hometown and some faces you may recognize. https://vimeo.com/240825779

National Blue Ribbon School Ceremony!

Members of our board attended Nebraska Community Foundation Annual Training this week in LaVista. It’s always informational and inspiring to learn from their staff and to hear success stories from across our great state of Nebraska. We are doing amazing things in rural America and have so much to be proud of in our small towns of Pender & Thurston!
