Can you teach others how to do something amazing in a fun and entertaining fashion? Can you demonstrate it in 20 or 45 minutes? If so, you have until March 15th to apply to volunteer as a presenter at SDPL's 2nd Annual HOW-TO FESTIVAL (will be held on Saturday 5/20 at 7 SDPL locations, including PB).
Please note that the Pacific Beach/ Taylor Library will be closed on Monday February 20th in observance of President's Day. This means there will be no AARP tax services, but here is a list of other libraries that are offering this service next week and all month,
Richard Warner's exhibition in the Taylor Gallery is "Art That Tells A Story." If his paintings of people and places from around the world have caught your imagination, we invite you to please come to the ARTIST'S RECEPTION at the PB Library tomorrow (Sunday, 2/12) from 1-4pm. You'll have the opportunity to speak with Richard about the stories behind his paintings.

Looking for some great books to read? Here are the Youth Media Award winners that were announced yesterday at the American Library Association's conference. It includes books for kids and teens, as well as adult books that appeal to teen audiences.
FREE TAX PREP assistance is returning to the PB Library! Volunteers from AARP's Tax-Aide program will be here every Monday from February 6 - April 10, to help you file your state and federal taxes. Mondays from 9:30-5:30pm (must check-in by 3:30pm).
