Mazurek's Bakery was one of the last remaining family business of its kind in Buffalo. Located in Buffalo's First Ward (543 South Park Ave), Mazurek's utilizes ...a 1920s era brick oven to produced it's famous Polish rye bread as well as other rolls, cakes and cookies. On Monday, February 20, 2012, owner Jack Mazurek was busy preparing jelly filled doughnuts called pączki. Pączki Day is celebrated in Buffalo's Polish community to mark the beginning of Lent.
