🎉Congratulations to the winners!!🎉...
2 of the winners are from right here in Paden City!

2nd Place - Paden City Wildcat Marching Band
3rd Place - Friends of PC Pool
There were a total of 10 non-profit groups from Wetzel and Tyler Counties who each gave a presentation on what they did and what they would use the grant money for. (Included is a list of each group and their project)
The main thing I took away from tonight is that we have so many great people/groups in the area who are willing donate their time and funds to help others.
Please check out some or all of these groups, maybe you can help them out or maybe they can help you.
Our Fall Festival is just around the corner!
The Library just told me a few of the ideas they are thinking of doing with the kids and I'm even excited!
Also, we still have space available if you are interested in reserving a table! ...
We are also looking for more artisans to showcase their craft and sell their wares during the festival.
Just message me or Danielle and we will get back to you.
*Update on water outages*
Tomorrow E. Adams Street will experience intermittent water outages. We are hoping these outages will only last 30-45 minutes, but won...'t know for sure until we get in there.
If the contractor has to have the water shut off longer than planned, a water buffalo will be brought in to supply water.
We are on the home stretch with the project, we thank you for your continued patience.
Please check back for updates.

We appreciate your understanding! Please excuse this inconvenience while we work on upgrading our city's sanitary and storm collection systems.
Recommended measures to take-
To minimize the impact of the water shut off during these times,
please plan ahead to:
1. Collect water in containers and/or gallon jugs
2. Fill your tub with water the night before
3. Visit our Facebook page to stay informed on the times and dates for water shut off.
***These measures will allow your household to complete minor clean up activities of hand washing, flushing of residential sanitary system, etc.
To help us help you better during these upgrades to the City System, we appreciate your planning ahead during these times.

"Stay safe out there. Ditches are full causing standing water. Creeks and streams are flooding and out if their banks. Don't drive through flooding roadways. The road you can't see may not actually he under there. Seek higher ground if needed. Eastern half of the county is getting hit hard again tonight. Flash flood warnings until morning, 2-4 inches of rain predicted."
