Any police department (government) who promotes a single religion, above all others, needs to be taken over by the Department of Justice. What a slap in the face to non-Christians on their department ...and within their jurisdiction. The civil suits that will come from this unconsitutional act will cost the good taxpayers of this community millions. Why? To appease the ego of an evangelical County Sheriff who's lost sight of his duty to uphold the Constitution and protect ALL members of his matter what their beliefs are. If you think no one living outside this community has an interest in this unconstitutional act, you are greatly mistaken. Citizens of this community need to fire this Sheriff and restore dignity to all of it's citizens. I'm a retired State Trooper. My sister is a State Trooper and our father was a State Trooper. This illegal act is an embarassment to law enforcement officers everywhere. Your Sheriff has made your town an embarassment to this great multi-cultural nation. See More

🌳 It is said to be the second oldest of its kind in VA and many of you have viewed this amazing Chinquapin Oak Tree from the Hawksbill Greenway. Take some time and walk up Page Street to South Court Street, you will be greeted by a wonderful bench dedicated by Page County Tree Board (Thank You!). The bench tells the tree's story and the view from this vantage point is pretty impressive! #tree #preserveandprotect #pagecova #community #lurayva
