PaintedRoads latest tour is on the calendar for next Jan. A tour conceived from a personal passion - one thousand kilometres of gravel roads, tracks, trails and rural byways. A beautiful Thailand as most tourists will never see it.
Stephan's helped explore a couple of PaintedRoads' tours, most recently the new Chiang Rai to Bangkok gravel road tour. Wishing him all the best for his next endurance bike-packing gravel race. Not sure about those funny shaped handlebars though.
What The Guests Think. Some pics, and reviews from our guests on this year's Vietnam Ho Chi Minh Trail tour.
Another 5 Star Review. Many thanks Nicholas, brilliant news that you enjoyed our recent HCM Trail tour together - looking forward to seeing you again, hopefully before too long.
I undertook my first ever cycle 'holiday' with David Walker/Painted Roads by riding the Ho Chi Minh Trail tour in March 2018. I didn't really have a holiday, in...stead what I did get was an adventure that far exceeded my expectations and included magnificant scenery, fantastic cycling, great food and top class hospitality.
The highest praise I can offer is that the next time I am seeking a cycling 'adventure' my first point of contact will be Painted Roads. Forget the large tour operators for your next cycle tour - choose Painted Roads and you won't have any regrets. Your biggest problem will be deciding which one of the fantistic sounding tours you will take.......good luck!

Northeast Vietnam - Two extra days, FOC!
Arguably our most stunning cycling adventure has for this year only has been extended to begin in the hill town of Sapa. Looking for a stunning and exclusive bicycle adventure, and a bargain to boot? Here is is!
Top marks to the group for a fine performance on the Ho Chi Minh Trail yesterday. With over 2500 metres of climbing and more than 130kms covered there were a few personal records set.
