Meals fresh out of our @instantpotofficial are the best!! Piled in the rice, carrots, and chicken! Set it on poultry, went for a walk and boom 💥 dinner is done when we get home!! #fasthealthyfood #instantpotlove

Recipe:
1 cup brown rice, rinsed well or soak in water 1 hour if time permits
1 cup water 💦 ...
2 cups baby carrots 🥕
2 T. Cilantro, chopped
1 Whole chicken, about 3#
Olive oil, salt, pepper
Method:
1. Rinse brown rice in a fine mesh strainer.
2. Pour rice and 1 cup water into instant pot.
3. Add cilantro, carrots, pinch of salt and pepper.
4. Place chicken on top of rice with meat rack so the chicken is easy to remove once cooked.
5. Drizzle chicken with olive oil, top with salt and pepper.
6. Cover instant pot, lock cover then set to poultry setting for 19 minutes.
7. Set valve on top of lid to pressure. (use an oven mitt once finished cooking to switch to vented).
8. Instant pot will warm it’s up, about 10 minutes then cook the chicken.
9. Once done, cover your hands with an oven mitt and set the valve on the lid to vented, steam will come flying out, hence the need for an oven mitt on your hands.
10. After the venting completes, unlock the lid, remove chicken to slice and serve.
11. Dish out the rice, carrots and chicken and serve warm.
12. Enjoy!!

My phase 1 results are in!! Down 1# and 1”. It’s a good start for an 80 day program that is focused on toning abs and booty! I feel so much stronger #buildingmuscle #strongontheinside than I have probably ever and feel good about myself #confidence

I feel great about my progress and am looking forward to crushing phase 2 and phase 3 before all is said and done.🙌

The nutrition plan is very specific about what to eat and when, timed-nutrition for the win! I have been amazing wi...th nutrition many days and other days I am eating little bits and bites from Honor’s plate #mommyproblems #buffering So for phase 2 and 3 I will be phasing out that unproductive habit! We all have those little habits we need to quit or tweak #progessoverperfection

I’m proud of myself for putting in the work in these workouts, they are challenging!! This program is considered intermediate, although there is a modifier who is my BFF sometimes! #truthtalk

Meal prep today! I have my timed nutrition plan and I know what containers to fill for each meal. Takes out all the guess work! Because who has time for that?!

I’d like to note that packing my lunch at night is far quicker than packing it in the morning while Honor runs around getting herself in trouble and Cali 🐕 whining for water or a walk. #totallydistracted I packed it this morning with a bajillion interruptions! Last week I saved tons of time packing my lunch at night. #liveandlearn 🙈
