Can it be true, that out of 20 million horse owners in the world, there is probably still only a couple hundred true horsemen?

Well, I’M HERE to change that.

My dedication to become a horseman started back in the mid-1970s but it took a kick in the pants, for me to know that I even needed or wanted to become this thing called a horseman.

...

You see, so many people like me who are naturally good riders, we think we’ve got it. Until we run into a real horseman.
And that’s what happened to me. Mr. Troy Henry became my teacher, my friend, my mentor, and he shared with me the difference between just training horses and becoming a horseman.

I had no idea.
I did not know what I did not know.
This affected me in my heart and that’s when I started to grow.

Mr. Henry passed away in 1981, and now it’s time for me to pass his lessons, his knowledge, on to you.
The biggest lesson? The Eight Principles of Horsemanship and how they can philosophically change our lives – not only with our horses, but with every relationship we have.
Over the last 10 years, I have concentrated my teaching efforts on just a few Protégés at the Parelli Centers in Colorado and Florida. With this Master Class, it’s time for me to teach you to become a horseman.

You will learn how to use psychology with any horse, to gain something called ‘EQUUS.’
Equus is the word the Latins gave the horse, and it means “equal us.” And this can only happen when we have true understanding of our horses and they have true understanding of us.
It is my job to help you gain the deepest understanding in the shortest period of time.

This can and will be a life-changing event for you.

I think using a Natural way of being to train Horses is awesome
and Pat Parelli has always been one of my favorite people.. i had alot of books of his when i raised all my horses.. then i... retired and 10 yrs later i have decided to get one of my ex stallions[hes deceased now] son and hes a year and a half old .. so now im out of retirement and im going back to training and riding again , i have a second chance to train them right this time. ive been watching all Pats videos to brush up on my training/horsemanship skills and i also realized where i went wrong in diffrent areas.. so now instead of using those leather or nylon Halters and different leverage bits and some snaffles im going to train my stallion a whole different way... all Natural.. thanks Pat for your videos..Deneze Lujanen ,BC,Canada Afficher la suite

I have only been to one event and was able to take what I learned from Pat and Linda in that three day event and use it for the last 15 years. These techniques work to teach us how to communicate with... your horse and build a relationship built on respectfully responding to one another.
Thanks, Parellis, for what you do!

PNH has changed the lives of all of the people and horses that have studied it. I have seen horses that were deemed "unrideable" become willing, happy partners with humans because of Parelli. For all ...of us who felt that there must be a better way to communicate with horses, this is it. It helps you to have a stronger bond, to communicate, and to have fun with your horse. It will change your life! Afficher la suite

WOW! What a great 2 weeks! We learned so much. I will have quite a bit to work on for months! Wish it didn't have to come to an end. Hillary Small is a great teacher, very patient & kind with loads of... different ideas. Everyone goes out of their way to help. This morning when we were loading up to leave, Wendy didn't want to go home, Dorthe saw we were having trouble & helped me get her into the trailer. I really appreciated the help. Afficher la suite

I have been doing Parelli Natural Horsemanship for several yrs now and love it. My horse and I have progressed to Level 4. The bond that my horse and I have is amazing at the games that you can play ...at liberty. You are taught one step at a time and the progression is awesome. There is so much that we need to learn on the ground before getting on the back. Then the progression on the riding level is even better. The Ocala Campus is like a dream. I have never doubted one moment of learning this Natural Method. The Instructors are fantastic too. Afficher la suite

♥ Inspirational, & attainable
What I love about Parelli Natural Horsemanship is that Pat is a fearless communicator. His assertiveness, kindness and assistance to connect with your horse despite the... vices is encouraging when some may say, "get rid of this horse, he's not for you." I loved that he said today in Redmond, Oregon, that most trainers get the cake and the students the crumbs, but he felt it was the other way around. Had my husband teach him a bit more on guitar, and what he didn't know, is my husband who had been a lifetime horseman driving carriage in Nashville, TN, & Tombstone, AZ, sleighs in Colorado and the many students he taught and horses he started, quit riding some years ago, and the illness that had nearly knocked him down last year ..he has begun to return, and Pat's integrity inspired him even more. It's not just about horses, it's about the relationship with people and all things. Muchas Gracias Pat, an honour to meet you, watch you, and thankful to all the rider participants who put themselves out there this weekend. Much love ♥ Afficher la suite

This is the best program I have come across that teaches us humans to be better partners with our horses and still leaves the horse with it's dignity!! Parelli Natural Horsemanship (PNH) has continue...d to be one of the most Progressive Methods since I first was introduced to PNH in 1997, by my mother-in-law, Carol Hefling, a wonderful horse lady!! Parelli Natural Horsemanship has instructors and students all around the World, join in the fun and become part of the Parelli Family!! Afficher la suite

Gets away with way too much abuse, you're not fooling anyone. Your methods are lazy and beyond harsh, you should definitely consider retirement away from animals.

Parelli Natural Horsemanship changed my life with horses forever! I work with children and horses and every child, who comes to my ranch, learns to see the horse and his perspective. Thanks to Pat and... Linda and the whole team for transforming my work with horses from "I don't know what I am doing" to love, language and leadership ♥ ♥ ♥ Marina from Naturalkids® Ranch, Germany. :) Afficher la suite

Horrible way to practice horsemanship. I've seen a few videos showing how they have mistreated horses in the past.
