We absolutely love a walk around the Pavillion Gardens, it's such a pretty walk especially when the sun is shining! The staff work exceptionally hard to maintain the gardens for the public, unfortunat...ely the train is out of order (something that can't be helped) but when this runs all the children love it! The Pavillion Gardens are beautiful and we are very lucky to have such in Buxton!!!! See More

We visited this week with a pushchair and walker so we take up quite a bit of room. The staff were very helpful in finding us a table and high chair, despite it being very busy. We ordered fish and ch...ips, omelette and the roast chicken. All were very well cooked and the ingredients were clearly of a high quality. The addition of a play area to keep my one year old entertained whilst waiting for food was fab. All the staff we encountered were very helpful and wanted to provide us with a good experience we we had. We will be back again soon x See More

Very disappointing this year! Parade was average made up mainly of local hauliers with noisy air horns. As for the attractions in the gardens. Well there wasn't any! Advertising live music which turne...d out to be a local station piped through speakers. Don't know if it got better, but they certainly fell flat on their faces this year. Our local primary school had more going on at the fun day!
Where were all the stalls? Entertainment may have come later, left at 4.30 nothing to keep us there. Not like Buxton to disappoint. Give it a miss next year.

I remember back in the 60s the Penny Arcade building that occupied this sight. Lots of fun back then

Great place for a Day out. Love the Pavillion and the grass area to relax on. Nice Theatre at the side. shopping area does need an improvement. Went to a KFC . only place I could find that had a decen...t meal. That are the pub at the top end of Buxton .. which means a steep incline to the top! See More

On a sunny day there is nothing more invigorating and yet calming strolling around the gardens or enjoying a lovely meal or snack or a tea/coffee in the cafe/restaurant with good service. If you like do this type of activity for a relaxed hour or two then perfect See More

First visit yesterday to the auditorium arrived 30 minutes before to find nothing open to get any refreshments the cafeteria still closed at 10am our event commenced at 10.15 so very disappointing travelling 1 hour 30 mins
The auditorium was compact clean and not stuffy we had a great view and the acoustics were good I purposely purchased aisle seats to then find the fold up seats had been put right up to the wall with no access other than to disturb the full row of people
Event and speaker was good as was the MC
Sorry to have to bring this to your attention however feedback is a gift and there are a few small things Hichem can be changed easily to enhance the customer experience

Beautiful spot lovely cream tea; serving staff could do with some more training and the tables could have done with a clean, but overall we had a lovely day

Went on a wet day and have been many times before on glorious days. Would've been nice to have a sheltered area for people who had picnics! Also what's happened to the buxton spring?
