We adopted our gorgeous cat from PAA and although she became sick outside of the 7 day period where insurance is covered by them, when we contacted PAA, they we...re so supportive, concerned and did everything they could to help us and our fur baby. She has since made a full recovery with the appropriate care and vet treatment. I have never met people who genuinely love and care for the animals as much as the staff at PAA and manager Joanne who are amazing See More

New foster babie... he's a wolfhound x pup around 9 weeks old (so the vet says) found at deception bay shops and then taken to the shelter and then to me. He's ...a chubby little guy (too chubby so the vet says for his age) ... has no microchip and also a serious flea problem which I've fixed. He's has now had his 1st vaccination. Contact the shelter. Why is this page not as good as the original one? Social media is the tool of the future and facebook is one of the best to get your message across. The previou...s facebook was way more informative. where are all the pictures of available dogs for adoption for example, I am on facebook every couple of hours and love getting up dates, some of which I could use to help re-home some of the animals. no one logs on to a website every couple of hours but they do with facebook especially when you click a button on your smart phone. please go back to the origninal format. Even the website isnt as informative if I was to use that as a tool. See More

What a great job these people do - Do yourself a favour and go down to their Hydrobath - These people must be angels on earth for the job they do to help ALL the animals that come into their care. I wish I could do more to help them.

I sent an email to PAA a week ago regarding volunteer work but hadn't heard back so I sent a private message through facebook and someone responded saying to se...nd an email to paa@peninsulaanimalaid.com.au regarding volunteering so the president, Irene, could read my proposal. So I sent another email but still haven't heard back. Just wondering how frequently this email gets checked? See More

Just wrapped the last of the doggy shoots for the Peninsula Animal Aid 2018 calendar! We had a gorgeous day here in beautiful Redcliffe. My last model Angel was... initially not so sure of the strange lady with the big camera but she soon changed her tune when treats were produced. She ended up modeling like a little pro and probably won't need any dinner! Here she is happily back in the arms of her beloved mum Chyvaunne 🐶📷☀️

Thank you so much to Lisa and Sara who called in today with treats for the animals at PAA. Instead of guests bring gifts to the Baby shower, they were asked to bring donations to PAA. Thank you so much. Such a generous offer. Our best wishes to you.

Thanks to Amanda for the update on Daphne:

Today marks one year since my wonderful girl Daphne joined my home, and what a year it has been 😊 She is now 18 months old, has had lots of training, lots of laughs, lots of snuggles, and kept us all (including her cat-shaped brothers Frankie, also from PAA, and Pepe) on our toes.

It's been a big and sometimes complicated journey but I wouldn't change it for a thing - we have so many adventures ahead and I am so lucky and happy to have this crazy, silly, loveable rascal in my life. 🐾💜🐕💙

Here are two of our lovely dogs that were adopted on Saturday:

Samara was adopted by Col. Col says that Samara will have an active happy life. Col recently lost his beloved dog to old age.

Mischa was adopted by Diane. Diane lost her companion mini mouse just recently, plus her best friend passed away and she needed to fill the void in her life. It was love and first sight for Diane and we are sure Mischa will be very happy.

Take a look at Silvie. She would much rather drink out of the hose than the water bowl. Funny girl
