Absolutely disgusted in the manner you people handle children's artwork! I am appauled that my child's artwork that was submitted was not only creased after it was submitted crease & crinkle free but... to find upon collection that it has been cut along the bottom! And might I add a pretty crappy cutting job~ it wasn't even cut evenly! Hire some staff who appreciate that a 5yrs old work is just as valuable as a 50yr olds and handle the work accordingly. Very disappointed!! See More

During our brief visit to Townsville over the school holidays, we decided to visit the Perc Tucker Regional Gallery as it was within walking distance from our accommodation. As we walked through the ...door, we were surrounded by the fun and quirky glass compositions of Tom Moore and I was equally as impressed as my 6 and 7 year olds. There was plenty of activities for the kids to participate in and they were occupied for well over an hour. The staff were welcoming and happy to assist us to get the most out of our visit. Thanks for brightening up our rainy day in Townsville! See More

It's a beautiful, regional gem. Great location, excellent exhibits. Was surprised that it was so small. Thought provoking photography work of aboriginal peoples, and lovely interactive exhibit for ...young and old of the making of a children's book and how it was turned into an animation. Townsville has so much to offer, hope some generous philanthropist steps forward to endow this jewel on the Coral Sea with funds to make it a destination with a renown permanent collection. See More

The display of work by sq artist was excellent.
I particularly liked how he didn't even finish some pieces and just left the grey lead outline so he could move on to next piece.
Apart from that most ...pieces are high quality. See More

What a lovely experience at the gallery. My 6yr old enjoyed the art workshops two days in a row. Big shout out to Suzie for organizing the workshop and Anne for being so fantastic with the kids.
