It is our pleasure to present this week’s veteran spotlight, Mike Shafer! Mike is an eight-year U.S. Navy veteran who served four years active duty onboard the guided-missile destroyer, USS Mustin. Based out of Yokosuka, Japan, he worked as a cryptologic technician to help conduct anti-ship missile defense and radar analysis. As an electronic warfare operator, Mike helped to establish an armed reliable force capable of supporting and defending U.S. interests and our allies in... the Indo-Pacific. Mike is currently a Navy reservist and has done a tour to Iraq with Army special forces in support of operation inherent resolve. (OIR)
In his current position as a knowledge author with the end user services team at Perspecta, Mike continues to help our customers’ reach mission success.
