Everyone is back in St. Louis! Sooooo....if you have been missing the music of Phi, mark your calendars. Reuni-PHI-cation is scheduled for December 23rd at Sky Music Lounge! Come out and hear some of your favorite blues and old rock and roll songs.
Hey Phi Phans! We've got a great weekend coming up. Friday morning we'll be on Channel 2 live at 6:50 and 7:25 and on Channel 4 Good Day at 9:15. At 5:30, we open the Blues at the Arch concert series, held at Luther Ely Smith Square (4th and Market). Bring your lawn chairs or blankets and settle in for the evening. Food trucks with yummy offerings will be nearby. We play from 5:30-6:45 followed by the great Vasti Jackson at 7:00. Hope to see you!
And if all that wasn't enough, you can catch us at the National Blues Museum from 12-3 on Saturday. If you haven't already been to the museum, come on out! Or if you have, come on back!
Don't miss the first of three great concerts at the Gateway Arch, Jefferson National Expansion Memorial at Blues at the Arch - August 12!
We figured out where to have our last Phi gig with the OG cast of characters. Where might that be? The Spanos residence of course...Why not have it where most of the crew has spent their grueling teenage years! There will be food, music, a pool, and fun people. If you are interested in coming to the "Phinale Phi Phestival" message us and we will send over the Evite.
Peter and Myles are headed for college. Let's send them off surrounded by their friends, family and fans. Hamburgers, hot dogs, draft beer, wine and soft drinks will be provided.
Phi will be performing. Let the frisbee's fly, the hacky sacks juggle and the hula hoops twirl!
What to bring:...
Lawn chairs or blanket
BYOB (if you want something other than draft beer or wine)
Side dish or dessert (optional but appreciated)
Swimsuit and towel
Please click on the Evite link to RSVP:
Just can't EVEN explain how much FUN was had with PHI on Friday night..... New Venue for them and they were having the BEST time - so we did TOO!!! Always GREAT... fun to see the looks on the faces of the people who are hearing them for the first time. They come in ... seeing this group of "kids," .... wondering what they are going to get... and THEN...they start PLAYING.... and JAWS DROP ... and by the end of the evening EVERYONE is asking where they can go to hear them AGAIN!!! They really ARE phenominal....and so are their PARENTS!!! It is no surprise to find pretty much ALL of them in attendence on any given performance...... partially because of their ages. Two are 18 years, 1 is 16 years and the rest are 15, I think. ... these parents provide INCREDIBLE support for their kids, and are just LOADS of FUN, themselves. Battling with the lighting and wasn't sure I would get any usable pics, but, here's a few.... ENJOY!!! Oh, and come see them sometime ... find them at phistl.com
Join us on Wednesday evening at Blueberry Hill's famous Duck Room. Help us support a good cause supporting Rock School scholarships ensuring that other young musicians can gain access to music programs.
We are honored to be a part of the inaugural concert on August 12. We play from 5:30-6:45 and are followed by the incredible Vasti Jackson. Come on out and enjoy a great evening of music and offerings from Sugarfire and Taze Mediterranean Street Food.
