Thanks to the Central Louisiana Community Foundation for helping provide the Pineville Fire Department with unique life saving equipment that most fire departments don’t currently have in their EMS!
With the rash of structure fires in and around Pineville in recent weeks, PLEASE don't delay in getting a smoke detector for your home!! And if you live in the City limits of Pineville and need one, the Pineville Fire Department can hook you up - literally! Don't wait another day!
If you or someone you do know that does not have a smoke detector in the home please contact your local department. You can apply online at the following link: ....https://dpsweb.dps.louisiana.gov/operation.nsf?OpenDatabase, or if you're a citizen in the city limits please come by our Administrative office at 908 College Drive. The City of Pineville wants to extend our heartfelt sympathies to the Pharis Family in the passing of the Hon. F. Jean Pharis, retired Pineville City Court Judge. Judge Pharis served on the bench from 1978 - 1990, and it was just a small part of a life dedicated to service and helping others. A life-long Pinevillian, Judge Pharis will be greatly missed by all!
Nighttime view of the new CC's Coffee House, opening SOON on Highway 28 East, near the entrance to Pineville Park Baptist Church.
Another quality project in the books! Time for D'Argent Companies to hand the keys over to the management of Pineville's new CC's Coffee House. While the doors ...won't open for customers for another few weeks, the CC's Team is currently busy stocking shelves and getting everything just perfect. Here's a glimpse of the project from start to finish and a sneak peek inside!
Was honored to get to pray and share the stage this morning with some very special guests for Pineville's first COPS (Community Overcoming People Stereotypes) P...rogram. Had just over 100 kids and parents come for challenging and inspiring messages from Hollywood Actress and Alexandria native Natalie Desselle Reid...plus pro athletes like Lloyd Mumphord, who won a Super Bowl with the undefeated 1972 Miami Dolphins...and Hollis Conway, 2-time U.S. Olympic medalist. Great opportunity to poor love and knowledge into some very impressionable minds!
Pineville's 4th Light The Night Mardi Gras Parade was a HUGE SUCCESS!!! Grand Marshal Natalie Desselle Reid, home from Hollywood, was amazed by the crowds...and crossing the river! BIG THANKS to our Float sponsors: Cleco, Rapides Regional Medical Center, Plastipak, Pineville City Court, Jena Choctaw Pines Casino, VA Hospital and the Convention & Visitor's Bureau...and the Krewes of Sophia, Fleur de Lis and Anastasia. It was cold...but it was a GREAT night!! Thanks to all who came out and stayed for the "After Party"! See ya next year!
It's THIS FRIDAY Night!!! The only "nighttime" Mardi Gras Parade in Cenla rolls at 7:00pm! From the KCS Underpass on Main Street in Downtown Pineville, crossing the Jackson Street Bridge and ending past the Alexandria Mini Park.
