Saturday morning cuteness.
We hope everyone is having a great morning (or evening).
Our daughter usually stops to greet the horses when we get home. Most of them come to the fence to look at her or let her pet them. I'm sure you can guess which one usually doesn't.
Satan usually stands just far enough away that he can see her but he's never shown much interest in letting her touch him.
Until this video.
I wish I had started it sooner but I was shocked when he came up with such a purpose when our little one went to the fence.
Avery is 3 and is still learning about how to "greet" a horse. Sometimes she just gets excited and will move her hands quickly. You can see that it startled Satan, but he didn't take off to the other side of the pasture!
It's the little things like this that to me validate Olivia's work with Satan. The countless hours spent feeling like we're getting nowhere. All the tears, worry, and longing for him to "get it".
Good pony.

The quickly approaching longer days mean that we will soon have more time to get in the round pen and work with Satan.
Until then enjoy this short video of Satan enjoying his evening hay with the always beautiful Kentucky sunset behind him.

We are spending the day at Road to the Horse at The Kentucky Horse Park. It’s a great show of horsemanship. Any of Satan’s followers ever made the trip?

Avery offered Satan and Vato her breakfast apple yesterday, but they both gave a “no thanks” look away. Something so juicy and fragrant must surely be a death trap according to the suspicions of dubious ponies.
