If i could rate lower that 1 star i would. Staff is sarcastic and rude. Woman sold us a fishing pole that was defective and it broke upon setting the hook on a tiny a** perch! They were closed already... so we brought it back today. She says oh you're line is to heavy (actually no its not but whatever) explained that their crappy line kept breaking and so we had to restring it. She calls owner and says that we bought a pole, and it broke and is like "well they put their own line on it"....DUH we put our own line on it their line broke to where we had no choice but to restring. We bought the pole, what are they going to keep restringing it for us with their line? No... So they do nothing to right their wrong (selling a junk pole) less than 24hrs and still refuse to take care of it?!? Should have checked Yelp before buying they have crap reviews there...about to add another. Save you money and shop somewhere else!!! See More

Great selection, reasonable prices, very friendly and knowledgeable staff. More saltwater fishing selection than sports centers away from the coast. This be our usual stop when I stop go tuna trip on Scat cat.

We like shopping here, have bought some costas and always get our bait here, just got a new fishing pole. It's just some of the people working here are so rude. That's the only bad thing and that is k...ind of a big deal in a customer service based business. The lady had my husband and I rolling as we walked out the door and she was hollering at me for rolling my eyes. We just laughed I'm sorry. Unnecessary rudeness from an employee. See More

Very rude people. My son went in the store and when he asked if he could see a pair of Costa sunglasses the older sales lady about bit his head off and told him she was too busy. He had cash money ...in his pocket and ready to buy. This was with us standing next to him. We laid a couple of hundred dollars in merchandise down and walked out. The older man is there is just as rude. See More

The staff is helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. They have a great selection of women's fishing clothes and shoes as well as men's. And now they opened another store called The Dock that is just as... great! These are the only places to go for your fishing gear with a wide selection plus a vending machine with bait! See More

Superior establishment. Great customer service and selection. They have all the tackle you will need, including terminal tackle, inshore, offshore, and specialized leaders and rigs for specks, reds, s...harks, kings, and offshore species. Very nice apparel, hats, sunglasses, ice chests, boat gear, rods, reels, and live/dead bait too. They literally have everything you need to hit the water. I can't recommend this place highly enough. Bought a reel and rod from your place yesterday . For the price you had it for couldn't beat it. Love my new toy and can't wait to reel in the big one. My friend Tony also was there to buy some sea li...ce. He bought over 5 dozen of them. Let me tell you it was a kill once he put them bad boys to use. If I'm not mistaken he brought in 3 black drums on live sea lice one of them was a keeper. In closing thank you for everything. We will soon be visiting you again. Have a great day n evening. The store was nice and organized BUT the staff was rude, disrespectful and we heard loud cursing in the store coming from an employee. Needless to say we will never shop there again

We come here every time we need bait and tackle! Love it, except today, the older lady that checked us out either needs to retire or find a different job, just rude (and that's putting it nicely)

Texas Legends Billfish Tournament

As of Monday morning, Tropical Storm Franklin is forecast to make landfall around Tuxpan, Mexico sometime Wednesday night. If this forecast stays on track, the ...tournament schedule will go as planned. We may have some swells left over from the storm, but the wind forecast for both fishing days is very favorable at this time. We will be monitoring the weather closely and update this website as we get more information.
See you Wednesday!
