Interested in public policy and campaigning? Looking to get involved in conservative politics on campus? Join the Princeton College Republicans to meet our members and hear about our upcoming events. House of Cupcakes and other snacks will be provided!
This year, as in past election cycles, the Princeton College Republicans will be working to promote Republican policies—limited government, the free market system, a strong national defense—amongst our college-aged peers. To that end, we will be actively campaigning for Republican candidates who will implement those policies when elected. In particular, we plan to focus on Congressional campaigns in New Jersey and other nearby states.
Deciding to support or not support any gi...ven candidate is an important and sometimes complicated determination. As we always have, we encourage everyone to vote for candidates who have a proven record of success and who have committed to enacting conservative reforms while in office.
At this time, the Princeton College Republicans are not taking a definitive position on Donald Trump's candidacy. Like the above statement points out, we encourage people to vote for candidates who have demonstrated a commitment to Republican policies, the kind of policies that will improve the daily life of the average American. We'll continue to articulate and advocate those specific policies throughout this election cycle so that the voters have a clear idea of what they are, but individual voters can and should determine for their own purposes if any given candidate (for President, Congress, or any other office) sufficiently supports those policies and is therefore worthy of their vote. As for our efforts in this election cycle, we'll be focusing our work on the statewide, Congressional, and local campaigns that are critical in maintaining the Republican Party's majorities in Congress and in local government.

Mike and Chip will be speaking about the issues of establishment resistance in Congress and the process of influencing legislators. They will also share information about their personal experiences as respected activists and leaders in Washington.
Food (Qdoba) will be provided at the start of the event. The event is open to students and community members. Please join us at 7PM on May 2nd in the Whig Senate Chamber!

The Princeton College Republicans are co-sponsoring an exciting event with Guy Benson and Mary Katharine Ham on Thursday, Aril 7 from 6:30pm to 9:00pm in the Whig Hall Senate Chamber.
Guy Benson is the political editor of Townhall and a Fox News contributor, and Mary Katharine Ham is the editor-at-large of Hot Air and a CNN contributor. They will be speaking about their new book, End of Discussion, which discusses how political correctness on college campuses and in American ...society is dangerous for free speech and open dialogue.
In addition, Guy and Mary Katharine will also discuss how political correctness seeks to force people to hold certain opinions based solely on demographic traits or identities. Given recent events on campus, we believe that this is a very relevant conversation for the Princeton community to have.
Free dinner will be provided. There will also be an opportunity to purchase books and have them signed by the authors.

It is time for the Princeton College Republican club to elect a new board!
We ask that all College Republicans take part in choosing the future officers for the club. We will elect the following positions: President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, and Social Chair.
The following candidates have filed to run...
President: Paul Draper and Sofia Gallo
Vice President: Michael Wisner
Treasurer: Liam Collins and John Zarrilli
Secretary: Robin Spiess
Social Chair: Samuel Schultz
We will also be taking a club picture during this event for the Princeton yearbook! And we will be serving snacks/drinks. See you on Friday!

The Conservative Political Action Conference is the largest annual gathering of conservatives (and actually one of the 3 most news-worthy events every year, behind only the State of the Union and White House Correspondent's Dinner). It's a great experience for students especially since over half of the attendees are college-age (thanks to their generous student discounts) and because it offers you the opportunity to interact with some of the most influential figures within th...e Republican Party and conservative movement.
Activities include...
1) Speeches by the most influential members of the Republican Party (Ted Cruz, Donald Trump, and Carly Fiorina are already scheduled to speak, and many, many more will be announced shortly.)
2) An exhibition center with lots of conservative-themed games, free swag, and booths representing conservative organizations/think-tanks (this might be a great place to begin looking for your summer internship!)
3) "Media row" where numerous radio/TV hosts will be covering the conference- maybe they'll even ask you for an interview!
4) Breakout sessions and panel discussions about various topics
5) Plenty of hospitality suites and late-night parties; CPAC is always a great time!
The conference will be from March 3-5 at National Harbor, MD (only a few minutes outside of Washington, DC). However, to get the early discount, we need to start registering and getting a head count of interested students soon.
If you are interested in attending, please add your name to the following Google document. Please add your name before January 1st: https://docs.google.com/…/1ifXkJryxGHrNru3Jqy0u1c-94B…/edit…
We highly recommend that everyone attend. CPAC is a fantastic experience (and will be even bigger this year due to the election).
