dear city of prospect heights.
You decided to participate in red light camera program and charge 100$ for a single, 1st time violation. It is your right. My right as consumer is to spend 0 dollars in ...any business that is located in you city. I hope more consumers like me will follow my example so maybe your city council will reconsider such celebrate fees for simple traffic violations. See More

Winter Storm Mateo to Bring Heavy Snow to Prospect Heights Area
The Prospect Heights Public Works Department is getting ready for snow removal operations in anticipation of winter storm Mateo. Street plowing operations will be in full swing over the next 24 hours. Be careful on the streets and around the City's snow removal equipment. When driving, give the plow drivers the right of way as they work to clear our streets. Not all streets in the City are cleared by Prospect Heights Public Works however. The following streets are maintained by Cook County or the State of Illinois for snow removal.
Cook County Roads: Euclid Ave, Schoenbeck Rd, Willow Rd, Hintz Rd, Wheeling Rd (Palatine to Camp McDonald), and Camp McDonald Rd. State Roads: Milwaukee, Elmhurst (83), Rand Rd, Palatine Rd, and Wolf Rd.

Join us in congratulating 1st Ward Alderman Lora Messer for breaking the Illinois Squat State Record with 292.1 pounds squat and the Total State Record with 799.2 pounds. She hit 9 of all 9 lifts and placed 3rd overall in the Masters Division. Her record-breaking accomplishments were made even more remarkable by the fact that she was recovering from a bout with the flu. Her intention is to go on to break the state records (which she now holds) and go over the 800 pound mark in Total State Record lifts in future meets. Good Luck Lora!
