Does anyone know of any Pug rescues in Tampa Bay area? Most are in c...entral Fl and I'd like to help foster but they're a Lil too far from me. 🙂 See More
  • Hi everyone! Me and my two rescue ladies, Bella (fawn) and Lilly (B...lack) are new to the Pompano Beach area. We come from Baltimore where I was lucky enough to adopt my girls from Mid Atlantic Pug Rescue and then we did some volunteering for them. I'm writing to ask for good Pug experienced vets in the Broward County area. We have landed temporarily at a VCA here in Pompano but the recent buyout of VCA's has us ready to move on and find someone experienced more with pugs. Any personal recommendation would be greatly appreciated! See More

PROoF Aumni update!

Sweet Georgie was adopted last year to a wonderful pug loving family. Here she is with her new step sister, Ella (a Pug/Brussels mix). Georgie & Ella’s favorite thing to do is hog their human’s bed at night.

Georgie is a perfect example of why people wanting to adopt should go ahead and apply and get approved. Don’t wait until you see the dog you want to adopt on our rescue (any rescue’s) webpage or FB page. The home that adopted Georgie had been... approved over a month before Georgie came in and they were patiently waiting for a good match for them and Ella.

It’s important for people serious about adopting to go ahead and apply and get approved, especially if you are only considering a young healthy dog. Of course, rescues get more old and special needs dogs than young healthy dogs, so please consider opening your home to them too.

Like most Rescues we check our list of approved homes when a new pug comes in (young, old, healthy or not) to see if we already have a great match for the dog. That said, it is NEVER first come first serve, we always do what is best for the dog, and not all dogs fit in all homes.

Say hi to BRADY!

Brady is a lovable little pug looking for a wonderful home to call his own. He is about 8 years young, his coat color is dark fawn, and he weighs in at just 15 pounds.

Brady has had his share of health issues in the past, but thanks to the care he has been receiving from his Pug Rescue foster family we are happy to say most of those issues are just that…in the past!

Hello Puggle lovers! I am Buddy!
I lost my loving puggle home due to a divorce. Everyone knows how tough that can be on a family so our friends at Pug Rescue of Florida are looking for a new forever home that has room in their hearts for me. I don’t have any known health issues…I got an excellent report from the Vet! Of course, I am up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm negative, neutered and micro-chipped.
I’m a typical puggle, full of energy and super loving! Hate to brag, ...but my foster mom says I’m beautiful inside and out! I’m housebroken, love children, and will make great adventurous companions. I would love a home with a fenced yard or some way to exercise because I’ve been told I could probably stand to lose a couple pounds. If you have a loving and caring home, and are looking for some puggle love, then look no further because I am ready for you to be my forever home.
