PROoF Aumni update!
Sweet Georgie was adopted last year to a wonderful pug loving family. Here she is with her new step sister, Ella (a Pug/Brussels mix). Georgie & Ella’s favorite thing to do is hog their human’s bed at night.
Georgie is a perfect example of why people wanting to adopt should go ahead and apply and get approved. Don’t wait until you see the dog you want to adopt on our rescue (any rescue’s) webpage or FB page. The home that adopted Georgie had been... approved over a month before Georgie came in and they were patiently waiting for a good match for them and Ella.
It’s important for people serious about adopting to go ahead and apply and get approved, especially if you are only considering a young healthy dog. Of course, rescues get more old and special needs dogs than young healthy dogs, so please consider opening your home to them too.
Like most Rescues we check our list of approved homes when a new pug comes in (young, old, healthy or not) to see if we already have a great match for the dog. That said, it is NEVER first come first serve, we always do what is best for the dog, and not all dogs fit in all homes.
