This afternoon I had the pleasure of attending a ribbon cutting at the new Veterinary Diagnostic Center honoring long time friends and University of Nebraska supporters, Dennis and Glenda Boesiger. Thank you Dennis and Glenda for all that you have done in supporting the University of Nebraska!

A packed house at Pinnacle Bank Arena to see the 3,000 plus graduates receive their degrees and to hear former UNL alum and Twitter founder Evan Williams give the keynote address. Congratulations graduates and to Evan for making all Nebraskans proud on this special day!

I attended the Lincoln commencement this morning and had the honor of sitting next to the former Secretary of Defense, Chuck Hagel during the ceremony. Congratulations to all of the graduates on your hard work and good luck in the future!

My girls had a great time supporting the Husker Nation last night in Beatrice!

Great night in Beatrice last night! Thank you to everyone who braved the heat to come downtown and meet the University of Nebraska coaches and staff!

Both Mike Riley and John Cook were in Beatrice to attend Third Thursday events. Our Doug Lowery caught up with them to find out how they are feeling heading into next season. Click to hear from the coaches.

BEATRICE – Husker coaches and administrators made their way to Beatrice for Third Thursday festivities in the downtown area. Husker Football Coach Mike Riley and Volleyball Coach John Cook both stopped by for interviews before they took to the streets.
