- Earlier today my boyfriend and I Jacob Jones went to a local art gal...lery (galleryone) and artwork was shown that had the theme "For My People." Since the theme was inspired by Margaret Walker Alexander, an orator read/performed her poem "For My People." It made me think of the choral works that you composed. Today I am presenting at the ISIM (International Society of Improvised Music) Conference at the New School!
The second day of the ISIM (International Society of Improvised Music) Conference at The New School
I will be presenting a very interesting improvisational clinic/performance at the ISIM (International Society of Improvised Music) Conference at the New School on June 7, 2014 at 3:00pm, titled, Adaptive Improvising -The Original Voice vs. ...Space and the Random Piano or…Playing On Bad Instruments Out of Doors Can Be Fun! The clinic/performance will include video of my playing in Times Square and other unusual surrounds along with recorded environment sounds for audience members to improvise to. If you are in New York City, come on by!
