The location is casual which was great since we were there on vacation. The oysters were so fresh and delicious. Happy hour is the best time to go as the oysters are 1/2 price with $4 dollar wines. ... They have excellent non-alcoholic drinks for DD. See More

My new favorite restaurant: superlative ingredients, creativity, cocktails and staff. For all the crowding and activity that goes on at Union Market every food experience I've had at Rappahannock has... been intimate. Love it. See More

I had the barcat oyster chowder w/ Benton's bacon, and the seared scallops w/ fingerling potatoes, arugula, aioli. Plus a Flying Dog, pearl necklace oyster stout made with actual Rappahannock River o...ysters. Everything was great. Seared scallops were even more awesome than the oyster chowder. See More
