70 year old woman with no running water in her home has been on they're waiting list for almost a year for help. How is it that they have the resources to help thousands affected by Harvey, yet they c...an't help one elderly woman on a fixed income who lacks basic necessities in her home? See More

This organization by their own admission takes money that was meant for Hurricane Harvey survivors and distributes it only to elderly, veterans, and the disabled. Not that there is anything wrong with... helping those people, but money from Harvey should help survivors of Harvey as they rebuild their lives. What this organization does is pray on the good will of mankind and use the money to help those people they were going to help anyway.

If you want to help Harvey survivors, find another charity.

Harris County Only. WOW! The name of the organization should be Rebuilding Together Harris County.

I have been a volunteer for Rebuilding Together Houston for 30 yrs. There is nothing like the feeling of joy I get when our work is finished and I sit down to visit with the greatfull homeowner. That ...is when you know you have done something really important in life. Your effort along with your teammates have transformed a house for a Houstonian who did not have the resources to do it himself or herself and made it safe, warm and dry. Equally as important, the house is a transformation to a beautifully restored home that is an asset to the neighborhood. See More

Volunteering with Rebuilding Together Houston is a great way to give blessings to another in the community who needs help. By restoring their home, it helps them stay where their memories are instead ...of moving to a retirement home. It also brings volunteer families together working hard and then celebrating a great finish! Luv this organization! See More

I've worked closely with RTH for several years, as well as sister organizations in Philadelphia, PA and Newark, NJ, and it is one of the more worthwhile organizations around today. Now that I live in ...San Antonio, I am keen to get involved here as well. See More
