If your video explaining why the south is so protestant is an example of your work, then you really don't deserve this one star. And the UofA professor that said this idea of "born again" was the bra...inchild of George Whitfield, needs his credentials checked. Being "born again" was a concept that was first shared with a Jewish rabbi named Nicodemus by none other than Jesus Christ. John 3:3 "Jesus answered him, "'Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.'" See More

Production quality is excellent and they do a good job of using humor effectively to make important points. They are definitely a center left leaning group and as a conservative Republican I take the ...analysis with a grain of salt. That being said, I think the only way to be informed and engaged is to listen to people on both sides of the political spectrum. So if your looking for conservative analysis then your not getting it here but if your looking for thoughtful intelligent journalism then I think reckon has a lot to offer. See More

This is how I always wanted to consume news. Reckon is an amazingly well-curated source for investigative journalism, in-depth features and witty videos about Alabama specifically and the South more g...enerally. Followers get to engage with Reckon reporters and editors in the comments section on posts, and help them decide where to focus next. If you value smart and thoughtful journalism, cut through all the noise out there and follow Reckon. See More

I have NOTHING good to say. If you don't agree, they're cry babies and want to cover you up. Op, dont say that you may reveal truth, lmao! They are scared of dispute or TRUTH, once again. Pure COWARDS!

My friend Timothy Smith recommended your page to me and I’m glad he did. It puts the lie to folks who think all Alabamans are right wing nut jobs.

Some stuff I agree with...other stuff I don’t. I guess that’s what I get for being conservative-leaning middle.

It is hard to overstate the importance of our local journalistic watchdogs in particular and the Fourth Estate in general. As Thomas Jefferson once said: "Were it left to me to decide whether we shoul...d have a government without newspapers, or newspapers without a government, I should not hesitate a moment to prefer the latter." I'm glad that we have Reckon. See More

Always excellent content, with a hint of class, sass, and great story telling/reporting.

Horrible reporting. Twist everything. So one sided it's basically an extension on the Young Turks.

So what is this thing? It's a bit difficult to sum up succinctly, but the short version is, this is where we're going to listen, this is where we're going to do the Lord's work, and this is where, whe...n appropriate, we're going to kick some butt. But the easiest thing for us both is for you to like it and to follow it for a bit, and then you'll get it, too. And then, I think, you're going to dig it. See More

Hmm. al dot com news and analysis and deeper stuff, without college football cluttering it up. Great. I mean...nothing wrong with college football, of course. Nothing at all. I'm just saying, a guy ca...n only take so much Roll...well, you know...ok nevermind, I'd better just back out of this. But I reckon this Reckon is good, anyway. See More
