Sarah Spiegel - “We'll Meet Again” official music video from Sarah’s one woman show “Through The Perilous Fight (We Never Stopped Singing)”
My deepest condolences to the family of Keely Smith. She was a musical idol of mine and it was a thrill to sing for her, get advice from her and share the stage with her.
And...it will always give me a chuckle to think of her hysterically off-color but accurate statements! (If I see you in person, feel free to ask me about this!)
You were one of a kind Keely ❤️

One of my favorite touring bands! 🎶
(April 30, 1917- August 19, 2017)
One of my favorite big band singers who was also a dear friend has passed away.
I became friends with Bea several years ago when I met her in Beverly Hills. Upon first meeting her, I brought her a bouquet of roses and a musical CD of mine. We quickly became friends 😊...
I loved being able to call her up anytime and talk about our daily lives and musical parallels. We both worked with some very unhealthy people in show business and it was nice to hear her wisdom. She was always interested in my various musical projects and was sure to end each phone call with, "I love you babe."
Bea had a number of hits with the Larry Clinton Orchestra. In 1939, she was voted the most popular female band vocalist in the Billboard annual college poll and that same year she began her solo career.
She had four No. 1 hits: "Cry, Baby, Cry," "Deep Purple," "Heart and Soul," and her signature song, "My Reverie." Bea was also featured on the very first V-Disc (Victory Disc) during World War II.
I often dedicate a portion of my concerts to Bea and enjoy singing one of my personal favorites, "I'm Afraid The Masquerade is Over."
My deepest condolences to her family, and a special thank you to Wayne and Bonnie, who made it possible over the years for such memorable lunch meetings, trips to the Hollywood Bowl, etc.
You are all in my thoughts ❤️
