Very nice rooms...AC I’m room didn’t cool down as much as I would have liked but it was okay... Amira was awesome getting us checked in and accommodating us on what we needed....only issue we really was at check out today... we needed a cart to get our stuff out of the room to the vehicle and the carts were all being used by a huge group that was also staying there for the weekend...I felt that they were top priority and if you weren’t with that group you were just out of luck unless you called for a bellboy and we were told that they might have time to help.....other than that one issue at check out the stay was awesome....Beautiful hotel See More

If you are in a wheelchair, I would suggest you look elsewhere for accommodations. They have all the wheelchair accessible rooms at the very opposite side of the elevators, so you must traverse throug...h thick pile carpet to go anywhere outside of your room. The UPS shipping center is located across a vast open area, also carpeted and across from the elevators. The mirror in my wheelchair accessible bathroom was so high, I could only see the top of my head. Having said this, once I brought my frustrations to management, they did what they could to make my stay less frustrating by giving me an extension cord to use the big mirror outside my bathroom, and let me use the freight elevator. Shame on you Renaissance Atlanta Waverly Hotel for not making your rooms ‘really’ accessible to those with a disability. See More

Very nice upscale hotel. Impeccably polished and designed. TECHNICALLY walking distance to the Braves baseball stadium, and it can be seen from the right side of the hotel. Spacious, cozy rooms. Elega...nt open area. Indoor restaurant and bar. One of the nicest indoor pools I've ever seen. Free headphones and apples in the gym. Lemon water and a FULLY FURNISHED bathroom with flatscreen tv in the bathroom/shower area of the sauna. Spa on site. Huge tv in the room. I was even impressed by the artwork placed up throughout the property! Definitely my new go to spot when traveling to the area! See More

Certainly no southern hospitality here! For this type of hotel I was surprised that there was NO customer service. No staff greeting you or opening door when you enter or leave the hotel. Had dinner t...he first night at the hotel bar and our waitress acted like we were putting her out having us as guests. See More

I really enjoyed my stay at the Renaissance Atlanta Waverly Hotel the staff was very nice and helpful. The room was extremely nice and big plenty of room to relax and unwind. I would definitely stay again and would recommend to my family and friends. See More

The staff was friendly and helpful, the facility is well maintained, the room was clean and well appointed. I used the gym and it was better equipped than most hotel gyms. There was a good crowd a...t the bar for Thursday night football and they had some good, local, craft beers. I ate one lunch at the restaurant and it met my needs. The breakfast in the Concierge Lounge was very good. The hotel is also within walking distance from the Braves Sun Trust Park. See More

Would have been 5 stars if the people at check in weren't rude and they were actually valet parking cars but they didn't. They pushed for us to park our cars in self parking. Being that we were there ...for a convention we needed to unload a ton of stuff well guess what no one helped us or even offered a cart and there weren't any carts around for us to grab or else we would have done that. The most they did was hold the door open. Won't be staying here again unless it's another convention. See More

Brian at San Antonio call ctr hung up on me when asked for a mgr. Got Kendra who claims to be mgr, but she had no idea how to get in touch with the call ctr in San Antonio---/ had no idea how to solve... a simple customer service issue. Go elsewhere. They are untrained and unwilling to work on basic customer service issues. No other mgr would speak to this paying customer. Badly run. See More

Was pleased with the service this year. Early check-in was easy and staff was accommodating. The hotel stayed clean for all of AWA and the water fountains and containers stayed filled for us. Looking ...forward to going back for next year’s AWA! See More

I had an ok experience, beside the fact that they double charged us and overbooked us. The front desk staff was horrible, not informative or helpful hardly at all. They should know how to handle booki...ngs where customers who reserve rooms get what they reserve. They upgraded us from two queen beds to a one king bed executive room, which left us cramped and sleeping on cots. Mostly, the housekeeping and door service was great, always smiling faces, wish it was continued through the front end staff. Hotel was beautiful, I recommend another elevator or escalator system, it takes forever to get up and down that huge hotel. See More

The hotel was beautiful and the room beautiful! The staff all over the hotel nice and polite! However with the exception of one evening my interactions with the front desk staff left much to be desire...d! They were rude, unwilling to help and could not tell me why I had an 8 dollars balance upon checkout! Called down for a luggage cart! She stated I would need to come get one , but the bell hop needed to assist! They don't hand them out! Even though we were handed one upon check in! So I went down! Asked the desk! Bellman asked if I just wanted it or help! I said I would take it as I preferred that anyway! Then he politely told me they were out and he would bring one up to me! Which is what I asked for to begin with! So my trip to the lobby was for nothing! Waited and called down to check the status! Where upon front desk with an attitude said I don't know... did you come down? Had to repeat myself twice I never got a receipt on checkout! If a hotel is going to advertise and try to maintain an upscale standard I suggest re- training or replacing majority of the front desk staff! See More
