Hotel is nice. Staff is friendly. I reserved a suite with king bed for a great price. However....after check in, things were less than optimal. Dirty towel in the elevator...for four hours (meh, no bi...g deal right). Get to the room, wine glass outside door from previous occupant (I didn’t check in until 7:30pm). No big deal. Get into the room, nice size. However...carpets have stains everywhere. No trash bags in the garbage can. Went to make a drink with one of the glasses that were provided....I don’t even know what the sticky substance on the glass was....again, I know how to wash a glass, no big deal. Ultimately the bed and pillow were clean and comfortable. I’m not one to make a fuss over easily fixed things. It seemed to be extremely busy on a Friday ( some sort of party/convention as we checked in), so on the whole, it was really nice. Also, the food was delicious. Parking is $10 a night, as well as $50 “incidental” hold per night. Given the location, I would stay here again at the price I paid. See More

We had a great experience! My most favorite part was our meal!! The chicken caprese was wonderful and the tomato soup with grilled cheese croutons was to die for!! I can’t wait to come back! Thank you!

People, do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. I’ve spoken with 7 different people at this hotel about a disputed charge and nothing has been resolved. I just keep getting passed to the next per...son and told someone will call me back. Once your credit card clears, these folks don’t want to speak with you. This is the only Marriott property that I’ve ever had an issue with. See More

Nice, clean rooms but they should lead with their beautiful outdoor patio! It's rare to have that much outdoor space with comfortable couches, tables/chairs and firepits. It was perfect for a cool fal...l evening! Kids didn't enjoy the "heated" pool as much b/c they said it was still rather cold. That was the only bummer. See More

Very well run moderately priced properly near the airport with friendly staff and more than adequate hotel food at fair prices. An older, well kept clean property without some of the multiple UBS outl...ets that travelers seek for smart phones, pads, watches, laptops, etc particularly at the desk. Bed was comfy. Restricted flow water pressure just adequate. Towels not of the super fluffy type, but serviceable. See More

First night I found vomit on the carpet then, I was moved to another dirty room. Day two Ordered breakfast and it was an hour and a half late and wrong. Was told on the phone it would be at the room... 30 minutes or less Wasn't given a mug for my coffee or the right order. Came back to my room that evening and my tray from breakfast was still outside my room.
I was charged for internet that was not used. Lol. Which is FREE
Went to check my bill and I was over charged too.
Worst part.....I wasn't treated like a valued customer after I talked to management. 3 nights of hell. Never will I use this hotel again.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! My husband is an platinum elite member and we are supposed to recieve a complimentary upgrade upon checkin. Not only was the man rude, but then insisted he charge us $10 f...or parking when the lot is empty! Who does this? I will park across the street next time. When I came down and asked if there was a bigger room available, I was told that all rooms are the same. Clearly that is not the case in the pictures on your website. The hotel is very nice, it's unfortunate that the staff is not the same. No hot water this morning, charged elite members for wifi, staff could careless. What a waste. See More

The Hotel itself is nice, the rooms are nice, but the beds and pillows don’t provide a good nights sleep. I’ve been awake all night and my daughter didn’t sleep also due to the beds and pillows. Wil...l not stay here again. See More

After I missed my flight out of Charlotte, Renaissance staff were amazing. From the receptionist on the phone, to the shuttle driver that waited for me to find him. The bar/restaurant staff that let m...e order while checking in. All after midnight.
The accomadtions were great of course.

We had a great stay! Clean and beautiful atmosphere. Staff were great! My kids had a blast, we stayed 6 in a room. Any other hotel would have turned us down with 3 smaller kids and a teenager all in room. Will be staying again soon!! See More

I will never get a room there again. Customer service was very poor, management sucks, my bed had dirty sheets and comforter on it. And they was very racist towards me and my friends.

I went for a business conference for a few hours. The conference room was very nice, and the bathroom was clean and well kept. Beautiful Hotel what I saw of it.

Considering all flights were cancelled and I arrived super late with no luggage, they were very hospitable! Even let me order a drink from the closed bar! Very clean room and beds are amazing! Very ...nice for the short 8 hours I spent til my next flight! See More

I had one business man skip me at the check in desk. The rest of our stay was cozy, clean, convenient and the breakfast- omelettes, french toast were faves but a great variety.

I booked our room 2 months in advance for our 11th wedding anniversary and Check in was speedy & pain free. Gorgeous hotel and very nice, clean room. We will recommend to anyone and look forward to ...spending our 12th anniversary there. Only negative and reason for 4 stars not 5 was the$10.00 charge to park and WiFi didn't seem to be free. I was travelling to Charlotte and booked my room in advanced so I could have a speedy check in time to enjoy the rest of the hotel. As soon as I arrived not a single person smiled or welcomed me. I co...uldn't even find the desk to check in until I walked half way in and someone who didn't even work there told me to turn around. Then when I went to check in still no smiles and they couldn't charge my card so I had to call my bank. The bank then told me they didn't see any charges come through so I asked her to run it again and it magically worked. After all that we recived our room keys and went all the way up to find out they didn't even work. The lady at the front desk did not once apologize for any of my inconvenience and downgraded us to two floors below our previous room. On top of all of this I woke up to a paper in my door for an unexplained charge on my card. The check in lady apparently neglected to tell me there is a 25 dollar fee that will be returned back to me in a couple of business days. The entire time I was there nobody smiled and nobody was apologetic. Nice looking hotel, but very unfriendly staff. I've spent less at hotels and enjoyed my expierence so much more. See More

Worst hotel experience to date. Executive suite was not worth a fraction of what I was charged. I was then double charged for the room and a week later I am still fighting with the management staff an...d customer service to resolve this issue. After numerous calls and emails have been sent, I still cannot get any help. Been staying in charlotte for a week now due to my father being in the hospital, I quickly changed hotels after the first night and they have caused me even more stress during an already difficult time for my family and I. This is truly unacceptable. Other hotels in the area with far better accommodations for cheaper rates and most importantly friendly staffs that are there to help, not to cause you problems like the ones at the Renaissance. Please do not make the same mistake that I did. See More

Room was great and bed comfy. Service and food in the bar was very nice. Yvonne at the front desk saved us in the morning when our scheduled Uber did not show up. She personally drove us to the airpor...t- now that's above and beyond. See More
