ICYMI: I joined Secretary of Transportation Elaine L. Chao in Frankfort on Friday to announce the nearly $8 million TIGER grant to revitalize the Second Street Corridor. I was proud to actively advocate for this project, as it will enhance the city's infrastructure and create a safer environment for pedestrians and cyclists. Thank you to all of the Frankfort city officials for your dedication to make this project a reality and I want to especially thank Secretary Chao for her leadership in recognizing the importance of this project to the Commonwealth's capital city.
