I have heard from too many grieving parents and siblings who have lost loved ones to opioid addiction. I am proud to have introduced legislation to address the crisis in our communities, H.R. 2482: the Mainstreaming Addiction Treatment Act to end a redundancy in federal law that restricts health providers from prescribing buprenorphine, a proven treatment for addiction.
