On Monday, I participated in an event hosted by the The Remembrance Project highlighting the stories of Americans who lost loved ones to illegal aliens. The media is ignoring their stories, and those of hundreds of other American citizens who lost family members to the actions of illegal aliens. At the event, we heard from Juan Benavides whose brother was killed by an illegal immigrant felon who had been deported numerous times. Juan’s brother was murdered right before the eyes of his 9 year old son at the young boy’s birthday party. The stories of these families need to be heard. It's time to stop illegal immigration and put the safety of American citizens first.
