Held my first hearing as Chairwoman of the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure Subcommittee on Water Resources and Environment today, focusing on the tremendous clean water infrastructure challenges facing communities and families across America. Pleased to join the Ranking Member, Congressman Bruce Westerman of Arkansas, and I look forward to continuing to work with him this Congress. Our distinguished panel of witnesses shared real-world examples of where our network of clean water infrastructure works, where it does not, and what we can do better.
