health care bill bill because because it it still still it's is gonna gonna definite definite health health care care for for everybody everybody and and so so proud proud to to be be joined joined by by our our ranking ranking member member of of the the bunch budget of community community John John yoga yoga um um also also much much pull pull can can or or Co Co chair chair of of the the congressional congressional Progressive Progressive profits profits and and bar bar billy billy who who has has been been a a leader leader on on a a preparations preparations and and also also cultures cultures the the uh uh keep keep pack pack health health care care task task force force um um so so maybe maybe right right now now we're we're doing doing this this we'll we'll start start with with you you and and just just if if you you could could just just tell tell people people who who are are watching watching what what this this bill bill does does well well I I couldn't couldn't help help thinking thinking that that this this is is like like taking taking the the Republican Republican House House okay okay okay go 10 10 there they're really are essentially essentially what what that that structure structure is is the the same same up up baby baby definitely definitely very whatever different material very good time time doing doing them them out out but but they they still still yes yes-man man is essentially essentially eliminate eliminate the the protection protection against against discrimination discrimination resistant resistant States States to to change change the the requirement requirements in in some some way way just just covers got this strumming stunning yeah yeah they they do do this this all all you you love love that that that's that's what what they they do do this this also also their they're lower lower prices prices on on the the very very wealthiest wealthiest Americans Americans and and so so this this wasn't wasn't enough enough there there will never never was was here yeah that's that's this this is is about about that that takes takes such touch an and it's it's about about the the little little girl girl that's that's even even do do after after moving moving on on that's that's my my shoulders shoulders so so he's he's so so little little wasn't wasn't no no that's that's really really a a down down get a a 44 million 44 million dollar dollar tax tax cut cut in in 20 17 20 17 below below um um and and the the New New York York times times rate rate with with that that the the Senate Senate bill bill this this is is from from their their their their article article today today once once promised promised as as a a top top to to bottom bottom revamp revamp with of the the healthcare healthcare bill bill passed passed by by the the House House last last month month instead instead maintained maintains instructor instructor with with very very nice nice adjustment adjustment to to this this the singer singer um um what what tell tell us us from from the the perspective perspective of of you you know know could could we've we've been been we've we've been been hearing hearing all all these these promises promises somehow somehow this this is is gonna gonna buy buy for her appealing peeling Obama Obama care care is is gonna gonna make make healthier healthier better better toast toast of of the the specific specific things things that that people people can can see see what what our our seniors seniors gonna gonna see see what what her are folks folks dealing dealing with with uh uh hope hope you you a a disorder disorder what what is is this this mean mean that that state state wisconsin wisconsin but I I work work a and Sea see yeah yeah this this is is Paul Paul Ryan Ryan with with his his brainchild brainchild right right in in the the House House so so coming coming from from wisconsin wisconsin sharing sharing the the board board I I can can tell tell you you he's he's totally totally out out of of sync sync with with where where people people are are standing stands and and you you can can done done town town House House in in the the district insurance insurance under under the the Senate Senate bill bill um um all all of of us us I I think think we I just just became you pay more more for for health health insurance insurance news news five five x more more still still others others a a few few changes changes again again not not a a lot lot of of changes changes in in the the best best way way I I can can explain explain it back back home home if if you're you're in in a a River River you you see see something something come come up out to to you you with with a big big job job might might be be email email here here might might be be a a rock rock it it out out online online is is your your trouble trouble in in the the way way that that they they might might look look just just slightly slightly different different but but uh uh as as a a consumer consumer there's is somebody something you tell tell care care you're you're gonna gonna be be in in trouble trouble and and this this bill feel really really didn't didn't experience experience you you are are dress dress here here you're you're also also the the chair chair of of hurry hiring task task force force in in this this bill bill slashes slashes medications medicaid um and I'm by by over over a hundred million a hundred million dollars dollars and and if if you you add add the the budget budget cuts cuts that's that's over over one one point point five five trillion trillion dollars dollars on on custom custom medicate medicate tell tell us us what what it it means means for for state state of of California California and and four four other other States States across across the the country country share share and and thank thank you you very very much much for for me me top top come come see see this this act act and and medicaid medicaid covers covers health health care care for for people people who who are are working working people people love love income income individuals individuals that that are are also also covers covers long long term term health health care care men men care care opioid opioid treatment treatment this this uh uh will will be be a a devastating devastating impact impact with with people people who who need need of of care care services services alright alright isn't isn't medicate medicate has has been been uh uh parking parking lot lot system system for for many many many many years years and and it it is is supported supported healthcare healthcare for for those those who who couldn't couldn't afford afford you you still still got got him him a a system system of of universal universal accessible accessible younger younger and and so so medicate medicate right right now now cuz cuz will will devastate devastate of of our our many many counts counts program program in in California California which which is is the the medicate medicate California California from from the the state state has has it it because because it it has has a a different different name name port port and and also also cut cut 75 75 billion billion from from the the Medicare Medicare trust trust fund fund and and it it really really rocks rocks are are see see uses uses it's it's what what their their long-term long-term up up family family it's it's about about reducing reducing the the lifespan lifespan of of themselves themselves experience experience trust trust on on service service it's it's devastating devastating bill bill is is I I can't can't even even call call it it truck truck here here this this is is from from the the Journal Journal here here not not dunk dunk him him that's that's what what it it is is because because it's it's gonna gonna hurt hurt something something people people over over there there my my man's man's more more they'll they'll have have to to pay pay good good that's that's our our H H then then now now there there um um it's it's it's it's roomy roomy inside inside you you don't don't wanna wanna things things that that initially initially sleeping sleeping is is their their extending extending some some of of the the custom custom medication medication still still doing doing that that keep keep customer customer date date beyond beyond the the 10 10 year year we we do do so so that that when when the the score score comes comes back back it's it's as as fun fun to to do do these these health health care care they they only only look look at at 10 10 year year windows windows a a lot lot more more people people lose lose after after that that so so the the cynical cynical certain certain um um I'm I'm a a service service kick kick healthcare healthcare a a bill bill that's that's because because there's there's another another example example there there is is no no different different and and very very cadillac cadillac touch touch which which tax tax on on very very generous generous hold hold your your horses horses and and they they don't don't cut cut it it cut cut their their tax tax visually visually their their back back later later on on so so who's who's gonna gonna try try to to gain gain knows knows that that most most giving giving others others never never let let me me go go shit shit very very very very different different different different and and they they are are going going to to girls girls you're you're a a little little bit bit well well remember remember one one of of the the things things that that still still is is there there still still was was negotiated negotiated in in Friday Friday with with 13 13 men men right right and and um um I I think think uh uh representing representing 10 10 States States about about of of those those States States eight eight of of them them didn't didn't have have a a cage cage so so these these cuts cuts are are not not even even being being vetted vetted by by Republicans Republicans in in that that district district and and do do three three elsa elsa weekend weekend join join by by one one remember remember here here the the people people for for change change counseling counseling and and in in just just a a second second here here so so ever ever need need to to go go and and head head out out the the door door headboard headboard nice nice mention mention all all of of us us that that received received thousands thousands of of letters letters car car because because this this is is just just an an example example either either the the reason reason that that this this whatever whatever we we call call this this trump trump bill bill um um just just gonna gonna devastate devastate small small business business on on this this next next one one really really quickly quickly uh uh no no from from uh uh the the small small business business owner owner in in my my desk desk that's that's a a little little let let me me be be clear clear about about how how that that impacts impacts small small businesses businesses my my business business small small business business owner owner and and I I stand stand with with our our two two boys boys before before the the week week paid paid 800 800 dollar dollar premium premium everything everything before before I I could could actually actually plan plan will will finally finally above above the the poverty poverty line line every every time time the the kids kids got got sick sick we we have have to to do do this this terrible terrible band band trying trying to to balance balance potential potential cost cost of of treatment treatment versus versus the the potential potential risks risks of of not not treating treating even even so so in in paying paying thousands thousands of of dollars dollars a a year year for for doctors doctors appointments appointments and and medicine medicine that that we we really really couldn't couldn't afford afford under under the the make make 200 200 and and 50 50 dollars dollars a a month month and and everybody everybody gets gets what what they they need need every every time time she she get get the the health health care care they they need need makes makes us us more more productive productive in in the the present present and and creates creates better better ball ball tourney tourney outcomes outcomes for for everyone everyone thank thank you you for for fighting fighting for for to to those those stories stories are are so so important important and and I I think think that that you you know know when when people people realize realize that that this this is is me me that that could could lose lose out out there there uh uh it's it's my my mom's mom's will will get get kicked kicked out out of of the the nursing nursing home home awards awards my my son son was was suffering suffering from from opioid opioid disorders disorders or or mental mental health health disorders disorders that that look look those those are are the the folks folks we're we're talking talking about about we're we're so so please please to to be be joy joy or or by by I'm I'm jessica jessica kate kate dear dear friend friend colleague colleague leader leader of of in in the the House House representing representing the the great great state state of of Illinois Illinois tells tells with with this this oh oh well well tell tell you you their their shape shape real real story story unfolding unfolding right right now now and and they they can't can't all all in in fun fun um um um um Saturday Saturday which which compels compels always always me me talking talking that that yeah yeah they're they're also also is is so so um um there there are are look look how how fairly fairly large large number number of of people people and and wheel wheel chairs chairs because because people people disabilities disabilities will will be be devastated devastated by by this this um um long long term term care care home home care care community community based based care care as as well well as as nursing nursing home home care care after after that that comes comes on on that that occasion occasion and and this this constantly constantly down down the the city city they they have have now now being being good good blue blue randolph randolph by by the the police police their their name name arrested arrested um um in in front front of of this this mcdonald's mcdonald's office office so so it's it's a a fairly fairly um um okay okay um um demonstration demonstration that's that's going going on on due due to to the the fact fact that that they they are are being being treated treated the the windy windy our our a a and and making making a a peaceful peaceful protest protest because because literally literally their their lives lives or or today today there's there's freedom freedom is is awesome awesome at at stake stake um um you you know know that that it it dedicate dedicate a a little little pain pain yesterday yesterday in in reducing reducing care care and and it's it's also also today today it's it's an an optional optional um um for for home home and and community community based based care care but but also also um um even even though though medicaid medicaid has has to to pay pay for for nursing nursing home home care care right right now now can't can't pay pay up up to to 300 300 percent percent um um that that social social security security that that disabled disabled people people cats cats yeah yeah it it can can be be reduced reduced to to nine nine percent percent going going to to turn turn you you not not be be absolutely absolutely devastating devastating give give me me the the death death quality quality of of care care what what really really go go down down these these individuals individuals have have so so many many I'm I'm really really starting starting right right now now about about their their future future they they trying trying to to look look ahead ahead and and think think about about our our gonna gonna be be able able to to to to manage manage their their your your life life and and then then struggling struggling to to do do sound sound on on our our I'm I'm enjoying enjoying so so in in the the community community and and now now all all of of this this is is generally generally more more anything anything wisconsin wisconsin you you know know anything anything about about working working folks folks uh uh a a across across the the country country and and I I think think about about these these task task that's that's because because this this is is really really alternately alternately a a transfer transfer of of wealth wealth um um how how you you think think that that uh uh oh oh I'm I'm working working family family if if world world wisconsin wisconsin would would feel feel the the impact impact of of this this bill bill well well I I can can tell tell you you under under the the House House version version and and I I hope hope it it changes changes that that sing sing in in here here and and we we know know that that greatness greatness studio studio 50000 50000 people people in in Paul Paul ryan's ryan's congressional congressional district district and and author author of of the the building building the the House House would would lose lose access access to to health health care care that's that's great great too too now now thousands thousands of of done done in in else's else's office office India India score score and and then then on on top top of of that that um um we've we've got got people people that that came came to to town town halls halls and and connection connection jeans jeans only only the the person person his his district district that that are are just just some some wary wary this this timely timely has has health health insurance insurance for for the the first first time time under under the the affordable affordable care care act act and and I I was was it's it's gonna gonna taking taking away away from from them them so so they they don't don't have have help help people people very very very very worried worried about about what what this this means means to to me me for for older older Americans Americans as as someone someone in in jeans jeans built built uh uh you you making making about about 30000 30000 a a year year being being up up to to 14000 14000 dollars dollars more more under under the the House House for for anyways anyways out out the the extracts extracts they they take take presenting presenting for for yourself yourself your your making making 30000 30000 camp camp half half of of that that income income just just to to make make up up for for the the difference difference in in subsidy subsidy for for health health insurance insurance so so right right and and again again it's it's tricky tricky in in that that in in percent percent of of bill bill because because parent parent what what they they done done is is a a they they don't don't miss miss about about aging aging with with the the Sunday Sunday come come but but they they increase increase or or decrease decrease the the amount amount of of subsidies subsidies as as you you get get older older so so essentially essentially sylvia's sylvia's terrorism terrorism you you know know what what I I think think these these are are the the things things that that are are guys guys that's that's being being present present premiums premiums that's that's us us in in the the count count the the prescription prescription are are classics classics ever ever and and so so handy handy impossible impossible and and we we have have a a father's father's yeah yeah we we have have a a boat boat so so we we gotta gotta get get going going but but um um I'll I'll just just say say this this again again this this bill bill destroys destroys the the individual individual manny manny repeal repeal the the taxes taxes that that pay pay for for it it and and transfers transfers all all the the wealth wealth of of these these medicaid medicaid cuts cuts transfers transfers over over to to the the richest richest Americans Americans it's it's slashes slashes medicaid medicaid which which by by the the way way covers covers have have a a ball ball births births page page really really insurance insurance for for 15 15 Americans Americans covers covers 220000 220000 votes votes were were recovering recovering from from drug drug abuse abuse one one point point six million six million patients patients mostly mostly women women who who give give get get cancer cancer screenings screenings std std testing testing this this is is a a bad bad bill bill is is wrong wrong for for the the American American people people and and we we got got 40 40 vendors vendors from from around around the the country country who who need need to to grab grab it it up up and and make make sure sure that that the the Senate Senate here right now that we do not much as now is the time um the bag here she will try to ask for 72 hours after the score before they take about and they wouldn't even agree to three days to understand what's in the bill this has been kept under lock and key and this is the bill there's a lot to it and there's so many deals for you we got a hundred of the serious work so um you know the cross another word for me this is really me now I need to be me and are and comes out there's that our senators and say now percent say no
