I'm very proud to see my granddaughter, Keira Moran, and son, Jim Moran, devoting their road trip to Los Angeles towards a great cause-raising money to support St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

They are asking for us all to donate $1, a small ask compared to the more than $2.4 million it costs St. Jude Children's Research Hospital to operate each day. By sharing this video with your friends and a little help from Jimmy Kimmel Live, we can do our small part to support the great progress St. Jude is making in the fight against childhood cancer.

I spoke on the House floor today to affirm our moral commitment to help those Afghan nationals who helped us ably and loyally during our war in Afghanistan. Now that we are leaving, these brave allies face a mortal threat from the Taliban and other forces who wish to do them harm because of their service to the United States. They are relying on us to uphold our commitment to return their loyalty. Now that time has come.
