Rep Lou Correa Supports The Heroes Act
The coronavirus pandemic has changed everything. With 86,000 Americans dead and more than 36 million Americans suddenly unemployed, now is the time for decisive leadership and bold thinking. I voted for The Heroes Act because it will protect our lives and livelihoods, and put us on a path to beat coronavirus.
I am especially grateful that my bill—The Leave No Taxpayer Behind Act—was included in this legislation. Countless taxpaying immigrant families were deliberately excluded from the CAREs Act, even though many are classified as essential workers. The Heroes Act ensures these families will have access to the same relief resources as other taxpayers. Together we can overcome this pandemic.
