Bjorn is EXCELLENT! He does a fabulous show for kids! It's also very interesting for adults. My son's party was a huge success thanks to Bjorn. He's great with the kids and the show is educational and... fun! Highly recommended! See More

Feeding our female Albino West African Gaboon Viper. They getting better and better feeding responses. We are just so glad these little ones are doing well. If you could slow motion the strick you would see fangs making multiple punctures and injecting venom. Amazing!

Album Upgrades

We decided that Queeny our King Cobra deserves a nice reset to her cage. We added some more plants aswell as a calk bark hide. Not a massive change but definately looking better. Top is new and bottom is old.

This is one of our newest additions his name is Axlotl Rose and he is a leusistic Axolotl AKA Mexican salamander (Ambystoma mexicanum). Yes, he is not a reptile but he is a cool dude and fits in. Please note these are illegal as pets in the Western Cape and this was a drop off.

Here is a comparison of our other female albino that has just shed to a normal. This girl has loads of reds. I will post a pic of the two albino females to show the difference.

Now we all know normals can vary a lot due to the colour ranges but with albino that will be more limited. It is still nice to see a difference and they are still young so colours have a way to go still.

Album Breeding
Reptile Garden added 6 new photos to the album: Breeding.

Some of the critters we breed,

Jack's party was a hit. We did a nice show with Cape Towns 3 most venomous snakes (Puff Adder, Boomslang and Cape Cobra) Then finished of with a few harmless snakes and in picture Lazass one of our Rock Monitor enjoying his back rub in the sun. He is a lazy .... but we love him.
