Reopening the State - Phase 2:
As the reopening of t...he state is approaching phase 2, RIDOC is pleased to be working to establish video visitation, which we hope to have up and running soon. We hope this will allow for you to see and speak with your loved ones sooner rather than later. This morning RIDOC Director Patricia A. Coyne-Fague met with the Assistant Directors (with masks and observing 6 ft of separation) and discussed RIDOC’s data gathering and reporting system. They have come up with a system that will be consistent, timely and more accurate. Unfortunately, that means the system requires more time to get it in place. We are hopeful that, as we build a more robust and sustainable system, we will be able to report out full data again next week.
