I wish you gave bags for both gear check and at the finish line. It also would have been helpful for us out of towners if you had a sign at the finish line to point us in the general direction of the start line or Broad street. A few of us had a hard time trying to find our way back to the hotel.

After running the half three years in a row my fiance and I finally ran the full this year. I've alw...ays enjoyed the half but the full was an awesome experience. We loved the course and all the volunteers. The spectators, volunteers and crowd support all along the route made this event incredible! They were the best by far that I have ever experienced! I loved having so much support during the last six miles! They helped me finish! I also loved getting M and M's at the junk food stop. We loved running in the fall colors,seeing historic houses, running by the river and crossing the Lee Bridge. I'm very glad that I started running this race several years ago because we fell in love with the town and the people we usually stay with during our trips. For anyone considering this race, it is worth it! Mehr anzeigen

Repeat halfer.
Despite the cold, there were alot of volunteers and snack stops, moreso than previous... years.
The addition of the pickle juice was superb, but would've been more beneficial if provided sooner than the mile it was at.
And the person who gave me a little cooked potato with salt, god bless you, it helped with my side stitch.
Wondering what happened to the balloon lady who used to sit and cheer around mile 12....
