It is marginally reliable at best. The last year has been awful. During morning rush hour at Ferry Ave station, riders often have to wait for 2 or 3 trains before they can actually get on and when we ...can, we are packed in like sardines. Very often this is in cold snowy, rainy weather. It is a very poor experience for professionals who need to get to work on time. On a good note, I gave a 2 because the conductors/drivers are generally very nice. But how this train is run from a process, customer service, and business perspective is awful. See More

Whoever made the decision for Saturday 2/3/2018 in regards to the fleet running was an absolute idiot with no regard for the riders. You have thousands of folks traveling to Philly auto show and you r...un 4 car trains? The trains were running every 20 minutes and it made the trains standing room only, if people were able to get on the train. You folks are just ignorant of your needs. See More

Service overall is OK. It beats driving into the city and paying to park every day for work. The biggest breakdown for me is communication issues. Sometimes there are delays, equipment failures, po...lice activity, whatever. It happens. I've learned to just double the delay times that are announced. Between the actual delay in service and unless you are boarding at Lindenwold or 15th the next train is probably full when it arrives, so a 5-10 minute delay means you are at least 20 minutes late. Ever since their trains have been refurbished nothing but problems. I've been stuck on 5 trains for more than 10 minutes each time in a 6 month time frame. The delays are ridiculous, and they tell you... its a 5-10 minute delay for 20 and 30 minutes sometimes instead of just being honest. The riverline has been around a lot less time and is inexpensive and runs much more smoothly than Patco. The stations all leak when it rains, the escalator is always down. I mean come on where does our money go? See More

I’d like to give them a “Zero Stars” but that’s not available. The biggest day in Delaware Valley sports, the Super Bowl Championship Parade and PATCO let the people down. They should have simply open...ed the gates and had a free day. It’s not like PATCO is hurting for cash. Pathetic consideration for the people. Let's start off and say that I have been using this service for a good portion of my life, and well, I can say I am NOT surprised by what happened today. In my daily travels using PATCO, I cannot coun...t on my fingers and toes how many times I have heard the word "inconvenience" come over the loud speaker. That word defines the company, if you ask me. Today, your machines went down, AGAIN, at Ashland, and I was forced to leave, find an ATM, pay ANOTHER dollar to enter the lot to then re-fill my card. Honestly, I should have not had to pay for the ride, because it was not my fault. Also, next time (because there will most definitely be a next time) you can explain to my employer why I was late to work. See More

Kudos to PATCO for being one of the only organizations to not take advantage of people on New Year’s Eve by providing free transportation. Very responsible to encourage safe transportation in a show ...of goodwill to your patrons. When everyone else is price-gouging in New Year’s Eve, you’re offering free rides and that’s wonderful. Keep this kind of thing up!! See More

I’ve lived in South Jersey for the past few years and have taken PATCO to and from work. I have never seen the issues in those few years that I’ve seen in the past couple of weeks. I honestly don’t re...member when the train I tried to take to work in the morning actually arrived when it was scheduled to. Even attempting earlier trains doesn’t help. It’s obnoxious. While social media comments about being “sorry for the inconvenience” of these delayed/canceled trains in a nice gesture, that doesn’t address the actual problem- schedules simply aren’t held. Most days pretty reliable however if you reverses commute it can be really long delays with no information. Their travel alerts are never updated lately so you have already load a fare then find out y...ou are stranded. I do not understand why the lack of information. Fifty-five minute delay with no explanation just leads to frustration. Delays are part of travel however if you know what is going on you can plan.
The stations could use some cleaning
The upgraded trains and tracks are nice.

PATCO did about a good a job as could possibly be expected for the Super Bowl parade. Selling tickets until sold out in order to understand the load on the system was a smart move. Not collecting tick...ets on the return trip made for a smooth experience. We were filled to capacity but the PATCO workers did a good job managing the lines and maximizing throughput. See More

PATCO, please explain a few things: Why are there always delays in eastbound service during morning rush hour? Why does the train slow down when going from Westmont to Collingswood? Why does the train... regularly sit at 8th and Market Streets before proceeding to 9th & Walnut Streets? Why on earth do we sit at 9th & Walnut Streets before proceeding to 12th/13th & Locust Streets due to “traffic up ahead” - what traffic, are pedestrians crossing in front of the train, is there an intersection, is there only one track between these 2 stops and, if so, why??? And, why are there no eastbound express trains, for perhaps 1 hour, during evening rush hour? I know, I know, management will look into this . . .” See More

Every other day a train has an electrical problem or delay. I don't think they know what a power washer is because the stations are so filthy and smell like Pee. Have any of them been cleaned in the l...ast 20 years? Every day I walk down the stairwell at Ashland and get punched in the face with urine and years of filthy stench with grime and gum all over every surface. The new trains are getting so dirty they are starting to look like the old ones. It's really sad that you can't hire people or some cleaning service to clean things up maybe once a quarter or even once a year. If you're going to be late, give us a decent place to wait. Have some pride in your system and service. You charge enough money for fares to fix these issues. See More

Patco did an amazing job getting everyone to and from Eagles parade yesterday.. The wait over was long but ride over was fast.. With the crowds going over and coming back we were pleasantly surprised...... Patco was a lot better then Septa.... See More

I would like to thank Patco for doing such an AWESOME job for the Eagles Parade. I thought you did a terrific job!!! A special thank you to the woman from Patco Woodcrest station who saw that my husb...and was slightly handicapped and pulled us out of line and move us up front. You don't know how much that meant to us. Another thank you to the Patco man who on our retuned trip from 9/10 street let us into a car that was close to the steps so we didn't have to walk really far. You did a terrific job....until next years BIG win!!!!! GO EAGLES!!!! DILLY DILLY!!! See More

Probably the worst train service I have ever used. Constantly late. Constantly down. Overcrowded. If there was any competition from Jersey to Philly you would be out of business.

Consistently cancelled trains at rush hour. If you want to go somewhere other than Monday-Friday between 7-9 am and 4-6 pm, it’s great.
