Have been going to Riley days for over 20 years. This is the 2nd year as a vender and was a little disappointed at our location. We were put on the courthouse lawn behind the food places and away from... the main flow. 2 of our neighboring booths just left. One was due to having to step up and down in to their booths and the other was not having much business. I know you guys are trying to utilize every space available, but please don't let venders feel they are second rate by putting people in front of them. Maybe use the courthouse lawn for James Whitcomb Riley themed events line story telling, poetry reading, kids writing..... See More

I have a service with everything to prove he is a service dog. I went to the tent to tell some there are alot of dogs walking around that are not service dogs. Board Member Debbie P told me that my do...g was not a service dog and his I.D. was not real. All the city employees in the area know and my dog and he is s service dog. So if she is not remove from the board,I will take following up with actions against the festival and Debbie P. With the ADA.....thanks for ruining my family's Saturday Debbie P. FYI. Other board members know you were wrong.... See More

As I got 2/3 of the way through the Festival, a voice over the loud speaker told the crowd dogs were not allowed. I was promptly told to leave by an attendant (kindly). I have since did searched the w...ebsite and Facebook page for this event and could not find this rule. I was separated from my family while I took my well behaved dog backstreets to get back to my car. I am disappointed in the lack of clear communication leading up to this event.

Before this embarrassing moment, the event was great.

Great as always. I did enjoy the food vendor that had amazing chicken & noodles with mashed potatoes. It was well worth the 10 bucks each we spent for food. It was great. Now Jumbo's food went down hi...ll plus being slow on Saturday. Love seeing some new vendors and people not sell the same things every year. See More

This year's festival was great. The line-up of music was amazing...although you had to chose who to see since there were so many different stages. Very disappointed that two of my favorite bands (Full... Tilt & Project 19) got rained out, since they weren't in a big tent. Hopefully, they will be back next year! Thank you to the Festival committee for their hard work all year! See More

I really enjoyed this years festival, I feel it gets better each year. The line up various types of music was great. My only disappointment was that my two favorite bands Full Tilt and Project 19 did ...not get to play due to the rain and not being under a large tent. I hope that next year the rock stage will be in a large tent. See More

We attend this festival every year. I was surprised too by the no dog announcement - never saw a 'no dog' sign as we entered - I would like to know why no dogs since this has NEVER been a problem and... I have been going to this festival since 1990!! Food was great as usual - fewer garage sales around the area than normal but was probably due to storm that passed through. We will be back next year! "Riley Festival" I have brought friends to the Riley Festival to find out more about the Hoosier Poet, James Whitcomb Riley. Their comment - there isn't much about Riley at the Riley Festival. Very sa...d that you are becoming like any other half a dozen fall festivals and moving away from what makes you unique. See More

Didn't seem like as many booths as years prior-- all in all, my family had a good time.

The festival is getting better every year. I was very pleased to see the local restaurants and shops open late so there was an alternative instead of eating the expensive vendor food. There were more ...booths and more activities for everyone to enjoy such as the zip line, helicopter ride, and live music. and an awesome light show. The recent opening of Griggsby was nice for those who wanted to have a drink and or dinner and listen to entertainment on the patio there. I am proud to say I now call Greenfield my home. See More

Lots of fun as always. This year there was beer being sold, to which all I can say is FINALLY lol. It's always nice to attend this local tradition.

Each year it seems like there are less exhibitors and food prices are too high.

It was our first visit to this festival. We live in Morgan County, are retired and love the local fall festivals. I loved how many booths you had, a big variety on food trucks and the local organizati...ons. Everyone was friendly and the weather was perfect. Will definitely go back! See More

Love the Riley Festival! I have been going to the festival for as long as I can remember from my childhood! Not only do I love coming to the festival but I loved being able to be a part of the parade ...with my antique tractor group as well as getting help from the festivals Linda Low, in getting the permission to put a tractor show on along with the festival Saturday! It is greatly appreciated for allowing us to put on the tractor show! I look forward to being a part of the festival for many years to come!

Also I love the Christmas festival and look forward to decorating my antique tractor again this year for the parade!

We have never been to the festival! But we will definately make it a yearly family event. We had so much fun! So many things to look at! The kid zone was amazing and kept my 5 year old busy everytime ...we walked past it! Some booths were overpriced in my opinion but then others were great! I cannot wait til next year! See More
