Roberto Paradise, along with thousands of other businesses, has come to a halt. Hurricane María destroyed the island's basic infrastructure and the homes of tho...usands of fellow citizens. Our gallery in Santurce has become a safe haven to store the works of artists severely affected by the storm. Swift and immediate action saved dozens of artworks that would have otherwise been lost forever.
Considering the grim prospects of our local economy and understanding that our commitment to artists can't and won't come to a halt, we've decided to take Roberto Paradise on a world tour. We'll be announcing in the upcoming weeks several partnerships with international galleries and institutions as well as a more aggressive participation in the art fair circuit.
For the time being and until all is resolved, our space in San Juan will be devoted to the safekeeping of works by any and all artists in need. Puerto Rico shall always be where we are based and where we'll continue to champion the arts and artists: in the good times and in the bad times!
