It was an amazing day at the waterpark.

Thanks to everyone who attended and participated in the World's Largest Swimming Lesson today. Last year's record was around 24,000 in several countries and this year is expected to top 40,000 so great job! Rock River Rapids hosted approximately 200 and if there was a record for the greatest crowd to participate, you would win hands down. We will find out the final Guinness World Record results after they are tallied and verified. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did and look forward to breaking the record again next summer! Here is a short clip from today's lesson.

If I could give them a zero I would. My child who can compete in swimming was told he had to wear a life jacket in the lazy river, he was not allowed to do anything after we were there for and hour. lifeguards are not all consistent and totally ruin any fun my child could do. Then my other son who went down the slides several times was not allowed to all of a sudden because of the small piece of metal was at where you tie the pants. It would have never touched their slide. Management is also horrible, does not know how to handle customer complaints. See More

We went to the dive in movie. I thought movie started at 8:30pm,since that's what the advertisement says, but we waited until after 9pm, sunset, which I understand but would've been nice to know. Abou...t halfway through the movie there were 6 kids getting very loud dunking each other and splashing, not floating or watching movie so even my 10 year old complained he couldn't hear movie. I went over the rules with him ahead of time. Its not swim time. Its movie time. You get a tube, you sit, you float, some of these kids were older than him and no apparent adult around and not one lifeguard said a word to them about being loud and disruptive. I was appalled that a mother, I'm guessing paraded her daughter and 3 friends around the facility for roughly 45 min posing and taking pics in their bikinis. A little overboard but that's a parenting choice. For being a strict place during the day they were way too lax for a float movie night. See More

I take my grandson at least once a week to RRR. I live way out west, and if I had any bad experiences with rude life guards, or any staff, believe me, I wouldn't drive that far and pay that price, to be in water. I have only experienced, knowledgeable and caring staff, and very on point lifeguards. Especially in the pool for the Little ones. We have been there on extremely busy days, and have heard the sound they have for a swimmer that was in some kind of distress, go off many times. For having TONS of people at RRR at any given time, they do a great job at making sure no child goes unseen when struggling in the water. This is all my opinion, and how I have experienced this water park. I know, not everyone has had a good experience. They write about theirs, I'll write about mine. The only downfall is, I should of bought the summer pass for us, It would of paid for it's self in the first 3 weeks. There is always next year!! Happy Swimming!! See More

I'm really upset and frustrated with RRR. First of all, we paid the $9 per person to get into the park. My friend was wearing a cotton t-shirt into the park. No one asked him if he was planning to wea...r the shirt in the water or not (which lots of people wear shirts in the water). There were also no signs saying "no cotton tees allowed in the water". We started to get into the lazy river and he was rudely told that cotton t shirts were not allowed and that it would have to come off if he wanted to get into the water. He replied by saying that he just won't swim, and then the lifeguard had the audacity to tell him that he could purchase a different t shirt for $30. So my friend from out of town sat in the sun during a 101 degree day for $9. I'm a little disappointed that no one offered to refund him his money since he got no enjoyment out of being there.

On another note, your pretzels are hard as rocks and your corn dogs are limp and soggy. This place is way overpriced and the workers are rude. No one wants high schoolers on power trips bossing them around as if they own the place. BYE FELICIA. I will never bring friends to this establishment again.

I recently went with my neighbor, her 4 yr old son and my 10 yr old son and we had a blast! As for the no outside food or drink, we just ate before we came and put a couple gatorades and waters in my ...bag with all the towels. Even a bag of goldfish crackers. We didn't have it on display.. It was fine! The kids were having so much fun they didn't want to eat or drink anything. I made them take a few swigs of gatorade every once and a while. All the staff were really nice! They even kept hosing down all the walkways so our feet wouldn't burn as we were walking around.. My son and I went down every slide multiple times with and without the inner tubes and swam for hours, it was absolutely fun! We'll definitely be going back! See More

Our family thoroughly enjoyed it. We swam in all three areas. We love the slides and the lazy river. I am also very impressed at how clean the bathroom facilities were as well as the rest of the place.... On our last trip there we were a little bummed that the kiddie area was closed due to possible fecal contamination but we understand they're doing their job and it was no fault of their own. Great friendly staff and super fun and safe waterpark! See More

Pros nice water park with lots to do.
Cons price to get in way to expensive! So many crazy rules like metal circles in swim trunks must be removed. No outside food/drink! Consession stand exspensive!...
U should be allowed to at least bring water. Lower ur prices or offer coupons. I didn't have any issues with staff being rude, and trust me if I did I def wouldn't let a high schooler talk to me like that! Will we go bk, probably but not anytime soon cuz of price to get in! I can go to the y.

It's an ok waterpark with overly strict rules and teenage lifeguards on power trips. We had my daughter's birthday party there and the shelter for 1 hour. Except they do not allow you access to the sh...elter one second before to set up. So the first 30 minutes was spent setting up for the party. For the price of the shelter it was completely not worth it at all and I will NEVER go back or recommend the park to anyone. The Mulvane pool is a way better environment all the way around, and cheaper! See More

The rules here are ridiculous.... level 5 swimmer and she had to wear a life jacket in the lazy river and ride in a float with a bottom. I rarely leave bad reviews but when you swim test the child you...rself and then make her cry because you say she's a half in short.... I will leave a bad review. The manager was rude about it too... although other shorter kids were going down the slides, we made ours obey the rules. See More
