Roger is still at NYU. He is doing great but they won't release him quite yet. They're waiting for everything to be working just right. He misses everybody so much and is looking forward to the April pasta Jam. Keep your joyful prayers coming for his full recovery.

Good news - Roger is out of the operating room and the doctor has reported a successful surgery. We expect him to be released in just a day or two, proudly carrying his new lease on life.

Roger has entertained many friends and phone calls this weekend and is in very good spirits. Raye stopped by with her autoharp today and we gave him a good dose of mountain gospel just before he left for New York. He is at NYU now and they are expecting the surgery to take place tomorrow. Roger is in the hands of one of the most experienced surgeons in this field. Keep the prayers coming and thanks for all the support. The outpouring of loving messages and visits has really revitalized Roger. I read the plethora of Facebook greetings to him today as they were wheeling him out for the ambulance ride to New York.

All of the staff at Danbury Hospital, and the great EMTs from New York Have given Roger such loving attention. We know he is in good hands. And we are all looking forward to hearing that banjo ring again very soon!
