managed to visit Rose & Grants and try their famous Lorne sausage roll and I certainly was not disappoint ed, it was delicious. My friend who was with me gave the tea a big thumbs up. Aft...er whiling away some of Sunday morning we chose sandwiches from the takeaway menu to eat on the train home. The VLT sandwich with sagia rashers was amazing. Can’t wait to get back to Glasgow for more ❤️
Great place for breakfast and/or a wee coffee and delicious cakes and pastries. Lovely people who make you feel so welcome, no matter how busy it is. A must try for Vegans too, my son and daughter in ...law are Vegan and I love that they don’t feel they are an afterthoug
ht in being catered for. Highly recommend.
I can’t stand bad customer service and people being rude! It’s two things that really gets my back up. The girl that served us today was efficient but no smiles, no interest and quite frankly couldn’t... care about any of her customers.
We asked what time she was closing up just for a bit of chat and we were told 4pm with no chat back. A guy walks in at 3.10pm and asks if she’s still serving food and she said in a tone of disbelief- no not at this time! We couldn’t believe what we were hearing. We certainly won’t be back. Food was good though but very disappoint ing
ed. I travelled into Glasgow today and got to the door at 4.15. all closed up. Sign in the window says closed 5, website and Facebook says closed 5. Girl eventually signalled that you... close at 4. Please update your signage. Can't give a bad review as I have always been happy but have taken a star off today..... ..
brilliant wee vegan hang cure. gorgeous vegan square sausage and the guys make a beastin cappuccino
too, pure love this place. :)
I have yet to have meal here that has disappoint
ed me. Every lunchtime excursion has been met with warm and welcoming atmosphere , delightful service and delicious food. The range on the menu means the...re's something for everyone and while I myself am not vegan I have many friends who are. With the shear range of options for them I do not need to think twice about suggesting this fine cafe when we plan lunchtime meetups.
I've been three times. The first was a busy Sunday and they had no vegan options left at all. This was fine, but the service was a little curt, with no apologies or suggestion
s of things to help. The ...other two times it was a lot quieter, the food was great and the service was good. I'd definitely recommend it and I'd definitely go back, but maybe not on a Sunday afternoon again.
After walking past numerous times and admiring this cosy cafe, I finally took my girls in for a treat last Monday. It was cosy and comfortabl
e, the empire biscuits and scones were delicious and the co...ffee and hot chocolate were good. Unfortunat ely all 3 staff members seemed to have lost the ability to smile. To say they were rude would be an understate ment. We felt like we were in the way and my 10 year old daughter commented on how rude they were to other customers too. Such a shame as everything else was lovely. We won't be back.
Popped in here yesterday (after a visit to peaches wax round the corner ) the food and coffee was amazing ! The staff were so friendly, helpful and full of smiles! Will Defo be back xx thank you x
