I eventually managed to visit Rose & Grants and try their famous Lorne sausage roll and I certainly was not disappointed, it was delicious. My friend who was with me gave the tea a big thumbs up. whiling away some of Sunday morning we chose sandwiches from the takeaway menu to eat on the train home. The VLT sandwich with sagia rashers was amazing. Can’t wait to get back to Glasgow for more ❤️ See More

Great place for breakfast and/or a wee coffee and delicious cakes and pastries. Lovely people who make you feel so welcome, no matter how busy it is. A must try for Vegans too, my son and daughter in are Vegan and I love that they don’t feel they are an afterthought in being catered for. Highly recommend. See More

I can’t stand bad customer service and people being rude! It’s two things that really gets my back up. The girl that served us today was efficient but no smiles, no interest and quite frankly couldn’t... care about any of her customers. We asked what time she was closing up just for a bit of chat and we were told 4pm with no chat back. A guy walks in at 3.10pm and asks if she’s still serving food and she said in a tone of disbelief- no not at this time! We couldn’t believe what we were hearing. We certainly won’t be back. Food was good though but very disappointing See More

Really disappointed. I travelled into Glasgow today and got to the door at 4.15. all closed up. Sign in the window says closed 5, website and Facebook says closed 5. Girl eventually signalled that you... close at 4. Please update your signage. Can't give a bad review as I have always been happy but have taken a star off today....... See More

Had a roll and vegan slice with mushroom and chilli mayo - was magic. My husband had the vegan breakfast, he was so impressed with the slice that he forgot his fry up was eggless.

I have yet to have meal here that has disappointed me. Every lunchtime excursion has been met with warm and welcoming atmosphere, delightful service and delicious food. The range on the menu means's something for everyone and while I myself am not vegan I have many friends who are. With the shear range of options for them I do not need to think twice about suggesting this fine cafe when we plan lunchtime meetups. See More

I've been three times. The first was a busy Sunday and they had no vegan options left at all. This was fine, but the service was a little curt, with no apologies or suggestions of things to help. The ...other two times it was a lot quieter, the food was great and the service was good. I'd definitely recommend it and I'd definitely go back, but maybe not on a Sunday afternoon again. See More

In order to cut down on disposable cups Rose and Grants Trongate is offering 20% off all takeaway coffees in February (10% after that) for people who bring their own takeaway cup. We are furthermore including this in our loyalty card offer, there’s no contactless card minimum and we charge the same for soya and almond milk. (So why not get one with your roll and vegan square sausage in the morning ?😉)

As if that wasn’t enough it’s 40p off any cup size at Bearsden Rose and Grants.!😱
