My husband & I had a blast of relaxation. This is our 2nd time & we will be back. Everything Jen said is right on. I know Sebastian & Brent, haven't had the pleasure of meeting Jarrett but all staff ...members are very friendly, helpful with no expectations in return. The Spa is Amazing. Cristina was fantastic. I got a custom facial and she thought me so much about my skin. Loved relaxing at 4he pool & Jacuzzi that never close! Something else most are not aware of at Royal Palms. You don't have to get a treatment to enjoy the Spa. It's open to all guests during their stay complimentary. See More

This is a 7 Star Resort. Service level expectations are exceeded on every level. My husband and I married there last weekend and from the first day of planning all the way through the next day recover...y brunch the accommodations were bar none. We looked at many comparable resorts for our weekend wedding events. The Royal Palms has a personalize luxury to it that you cannot get anywhere else. The staff is just as special as the former private property itself. Tammy took care of our communications and logistics with the wedding planner to a T. It was of no surprise to us that our wedding planner highly recommended them! Well done on delivering the often empty promise of exceptional customer service! See More

We celebrated our Anniversary at Royal Palms and was very impressed by the service and attention to detail. They welcomed us with a glass of champagne and really set the tone for our staycation. Rose ...petals were placed on our dinner table with a complimentary dessert to celebrate. The staff was very professional but very personable. We highly recommend Royal Palms and will be sure to book another staycation here. See More

Well it didn’t have any of the other amenities in the room as other resorts would. ALL you got was shampoo conditioner and body soap. Disappointing very much for the amount of money to pay for a New Y...ear’s Eve night. And New Year’s Eve party well let’s just say it’s kind of hard to screw up at taco bar with three varieties of meat and oyster shrimp bar on ice. Don’t think I’ll be back anytime soon. And they want $25 to park your car there a day. See More

My mother and I are on our second visit to the Royal Palms and it's just as decadent as our first. Yes, this place is expensive and for good reason. The grounds are stunning, so lush with flowers and ...palm trees. We took the daily history tour with Jake and learned the palm trees came from South America, Africa and Mexico. Sebastian at the front desk treated us like royalty, checking on us each morning at the pool. Guests know and love him, easy to see why. Both times we stayed in the Montevista suites, the view of Camelback mountain is gorgeous and the fountain surrounded by fireplaces is a great place to enjoy a drink. Room and maid service is fast, the pool staff is incredible, especially Brent. He brought me an extension cord so I could work without losing my prime spot in the shade. We ate at T. Cooks and the food is top notch, and I live in San Francisco. The foie gras, octopus and duck were perfectly cooked, was even brought a free wine pairing. We didn't care for the succotash that came with the duck and our stellar server Jarrett comped both our desserts. Haven't tried the spa as the grounds themselves feel like pampering. Stay here, splurge and treat yourself to an amazing stay. One negative: this place should be entirely non smoking! See More

What a rare and exemplary resort. First off, STUNNING location. Nestled in the desert, framed by the mountains. Gorgeous grounds. Beautiful landscaping. The friendliest and most attentive staff (wit...hout being overbearing). I felt like royalty. Greeted with champagne and warmth. Large, comfortable rooms with Japanese soaking tubs. I can't say enough. It's a place I want to return to again and again. Felt like an escape from the crazy world to a place of peace and bliss. See More

The food and service were amazing. Very special occasions for my brother and I. But the vapid conversations happening around us were disheartening. Listen up rich white people: you’re existence in tem...porary. Listening to your judgments and complaints made me sick to my stomach. I hope you all find a way to be inspired and compassionate in the future. They way you disregarded the staff who were working theirs asses on on Christmas was horrifying. Shame on you. See More

This is beyond the most incredible resort I have ever stayed at. Can't wait to come back! I went here for a quick staycation over the weekend for my anniversary and I couldn't ask for anything more sp...ecial. The beauty of the resort and the service I received from every single staff member was Incredible!

Check in is normally at 4pm but I called that morning and the staff was very kind over the phone and found an available room so we were able to check-in at 12pm. All parking is valet so you pull up, and the bell hops will help unload your car and direct you to check in desk. The staff was so nice checking us in and then even greeted us with a fresh glass of champagne. Our bell hop walked us to our room and even explained a little history about the resort. Like it used to be a home in 1922.

The rooms are large and beautiful. We had a huge soaker tub and a large double shower head walk in shower. We also had a free Keurig in the room and a private patio. My favorite part was the bed! It was so fluffy and felt like a cloud! Best sleep of my life! They do a turn down service at night so they come in and turn down bed sheets, give chocolates, and close the curtains so your ready for bed. We received a gift of chocolate covered strawberries and champagne for our anniversary when we got back to the room. Such a romantic evening.

This is a very beautiful historic Spanish style resort so very little kids which is nice for a special romantic occasion. There is multiple courtyards that all look different so it's gorgeous to just walk all the pathways and explore. Beautiful lit up at night. There is benches, tables, games, waterfalls, and fruit trees all over the property. Great large pool and jacuzzi which is open 24-7 so you can go anytime at night when it's less busy. They do have a great poolside bar and it's pretty packed during the day.

Check-out was at 12pm but they are very accommodating so just a quick call down to front office they let us know we can check out at 1pm which allowed us more time to relax in the morning. We ordered breakfast in bed of pancakes and a fried egg sandwich which were both amazing!

Overall everything from start to finish was amazing. Such a beautiful resort to stay at for a romantic evening and the staff made our stay so special. I'm very excited to come back, if not sooner, at least for our anniversary next year. Next time I want to try the famous T Cooks restaurant on property that I herd great things from.

Thank you Hyatt and royal palms for making our anniversary so special!

This resort is such an amazing place that I know for sure that everyone will enjoy every minutes of stay and appreciate of the services that they will provide for us. What I loved the most was to see ...its unique history of the resort and the most welcoming people who work there to make us felt so special. I loved to see all the employees wearing their name budges with their first names that made us wanted to get to know them better. A special thanks to Sebastian, who made our stay the most memorable one. Thank you for everything! See More

We spent one night and two days here on our way home from a few days in Sedona. The service was excellent on every level. They were very friendly with my 6yr old and worked to make him feel comfortab...le as the only youngster around. They gave him a baseball and a stuffed camel from the gift shop. They came to make his pullout couch at night. They upgraded us to a villa bc our room wasn’t ready and they wanted us to enjoy our stay immediately. Food at the restaurant was fabulous and the grounds are beautiful. We will be back and we highly recommend!! See More

We spent Thanksgiving weekend at the Royal Palms and had a wonderful visit. From the always pleasant valets greeting us to the reception desk employees offering us champagne or hot apple cider when ch...ecking in to the the wonderful inviting dark wood bar. We had such a great time. We had dinner at TCooks with family on Friday night and the food was fabulous and we had Sundsy brunch there as well and it didn't disappoint.... DELISH! We enjoy the day at the pool after brunch. The service people were so attentive. Just loved our whole experience and will definitely be back!! See More

We had the most luxurious and relaxing stay here. We just got married and stayed here for a little honeymoon get away. We decided since we live here in the valley we intend to celebrate our anniversar...ies here each year. The room was beautiful with a huge bathtub, fire place an nice little private patio. The food and service at the restaurant T.Cooks was excellent! We ended our stay with a couples massage at the Alvadora Spa...absolutely amazing!!! The landscaping is beautiful. Make sure you ask about the history of the resort or check out the book in the room that has pictures and a write up of all the famous people who have stayed here! Love this place!!! See More

Very cozy rooms. I liked how our room had window blinds that opened into bathtub area. The greenery and palm trees made the place look tropical. The restaurant has very tasty food with healthy dining ...options. The outside tables at the restaurant were the best at evening with the fireplace and the lights all around. Besides the mosquito bites, I loved this place. See More

The service started out good at tjcooks. The waiter was pretty busy. Very nice and always checking on us. I would rate the food terrible . The fillet was delicious. The mussels great too. The salad wa...s nothing to write about. We didn't know that Brussels sprouts came with the fillet. They were awful, very salty. My husband hates Brussels sprouts and was shocked to see them on his plate. The dessert was terrible. Spanish brûlée...no crust and not very tasty. The bread pudding was like sticky buns with a little ice cream. Over all... we paid 150.00 for a meal that was not in any way high quality. Been there in past and it was wonderful. See More
