The similarities between Passover and Easter are numerous but no similarity is more powerful than the shared lesson we can learn from both holidays: we are not made for death.

It’s not just that the Last Supper was a Passover Seder. Both holidays are about the dead rising to new life.

Marriage is living for another, rather than for oneself. It’s a peace treaty between the sexes and a bond that transcends the weakness of our flesh, the fickleness of our passions, and the fragility of our egos.

Join us for “The Good of Marriage,” an intellectual retreat that will be held at Baylor University from May 19 to May 21.
