Saturday ...March 11, 2017 7 PM Faceoff Join us at the PPL Center for a LV winter standard: Lehigh Valley Phantoms Hockey The Phantoms are taking on the Utica Comets for some exciting hockey action this winter! Football Season will be over, March Madness and Baseball will be yet to start. Tickets are $20 each on the first level orange area (see arena map below). SEATS ARE LIMITED! Please send RSVP to email below with number of seats needed. Once confirmation is sent to you, please send a check for that amount to the address sent in the confirmation email. RSVP: barrrd@ptd.net A free will donation will be taken at the game for the RCLV scholarship. Help us raise money for our Scholarship Fund. Purchase a chance to win 4 tickets and limo service to the Rutgers vs. Penn State Game on November 19, 2016. The drawing will be held on November 12, 2016 at the Rutgers Game Day at Big Woody’s Forks Township Location.

Food Drive Challenge! March 1st – March 31st

Join fellow members of the Rutgers Club of Lehigh Valley in collecting donations for Second Harvest Food Bank. All donations need to be received by Second Harvest no later than March 31st.

If you are dropping your donation off at Second Harvest, please be sure to tell them you are with the Rutgers Club of Lehigh Valley.

Cash donations are credited at the rate of 9 pounds per $ donated. When sending monetary donations, please be sure to note that it is being made toward the Rutgers Club of Lehigh Valley.

Second Harvest will keep a running tally of the donations collected and at the end of March, will declare a winning club! The winner will be officially named at a friendly happy hour gathering at the close of the completion for all participants to celebrate their success.
Below is a list of the items most in need. Other items are gladly accepted. Please be sure the items you are donating have not past their expiration date.

Rutgers Club of the Lehigh Valley has received a grant from the Rutgers University Alumni Association to promote our 2016 Game Day Events. 99.9 The Hawk will be helping us to promote these events. Proceeds from the Game Day events will go toward our Rutgers Club of the Lehigh Valley Scholarship Fund. Each year we give a $1,766 Scholarship to an incoming first year student from the Lehigh Valley. Stay tuned for details!

Rutgers Alumni and their families from the Rutgers Lehigh Valley and Northeast PA Clubs reminised about their days at Rutgers. Also in attendance were 3 first year students, a current pharmacy student, parents of first year students and a Rutgers Staff member. We had a great time. Hope to see more alumni, current and first year students next year!

Second Harvest Alumni Challenge
