went with my hubby for a quiet, kid free night. there was a party in the back room and all you could hear was the dj, it was freezing cold inside. my husband's steak came out too rare, sent it back a...nd it came back well. my filet was ordered medium without seasoning and grilled shrimp, without the Cajun spice, it came out teeny tiny, black on the bottom and burnt to a crisp. waiter came back with another, which he said was someone else's order and was spicy, and still overcooked. also, they kept the tray of dirty plates right behind us and every time the waiter picked it up he carried it over my head, terrible. I was just frustrated about the whole thing and wanted to go. i will never go back. and to top it all off, hubby was up all night with a stomach ache! the only plus was the waiter was nice. next time instead of spending $170 on a bad steak I think I will go to the diner! Best happy hour going. Located in the Parsippany Hilton it's a real restaurant in a hotel. Great selection of wines by the glass and all manner of specialty cocktails with pleasant and helpful wait st...aff. I've been twice in as many nights the happy hour food menu is smaller sized versions of some of their entrees and the food is magnificent as it is in most Ruth Chris steakhouses See More

My family & I had the most AMAZING dinner last night!! From the appetizer ..to the steak... to my husband's Chilean sea bass it was absolutely delicious .. and just when we thought it was over the de...ssert & chocolate martini ended our unforgettable night .. we are planning to go Valentine's Day�5 star all the way!!! Greeted by lovely young lady who promptly seated us at our table. Waiter came quickly and asked us if we were first timers (I was) proceed to explain things The food was excellent steak cooked to perf...ection, brussel sprouts excellent grilled asparagus supberb, waiter was very attentive and pleasant. Celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary here. Service was top notch! Several staff members came over to our table to greet us and express well wishes. The citrus glazed sea bass was the tastiest pie...ce of fish I've ever had. Our server also surprised us with a dessert dish that had "happy anniversary" written in chocolate on the plate. I was really looking forward to my first visit here for my birthday yesterday, but came away surprisingly underwhelmed last night. I ordered the ribeye, which I fully expected to have some noticeable... fat on it, but it was much fattier than expected...plus, I wasn't expecting my lady's filet to have as much, if not more, fat than my steak had. They were both seasoned well yet a little lacking in flavor, but while mine came out slightly more rare than the medium-rare I had requested, which I'm okay with, hers was seemingly more rare than mine and she ordered hers medium, which is not okay. Also, I was somewhat put off by the lack of interaction with our waiters. Whereas a few tables within earshot could be heard discussing whether it was a special occasion (i.e. anniversary, birthday, etc.) and if any of the diners were vets celebrating Veteran's Day, we had no such banter, which was a letdown since I'm both a vet and the "birthday boy." Suffice it to say, we were left wondering what all the fanfare is about. See More

Amazing food!!!! We took our 3 kids there with us for our Anniversary dinner. Ty and Dave were amazing with our 12, 9, and 4 year olds. They helped us teach them about fine dining, food, and table set...tings. We will be back and request Ty and Dave. See More

I have been going to Ruth's Chris for years! Always a great time. The food is aces from their steaks to the sweet potato caserole. Just had a double birthday party and it was fantastic as always.

Excellent. We went there for our son's 11th birthday. We made the reservation online and mentioned it was a birthday celebration. The table was perfect. Birthday confetti scattered on the table. Every...one made james feel special. The wait staff was so friendly. Food was delicious and we will absolutely be back for more! See More

The food was excellent as usual. We sat in the bar area, for immediate seating as we didn't make a reservation. The service was good, but not great, although It did appear one waiter had the entire section.

Excellent food, awesome drinks and a perfect atmosphere! The service at Ruth's Chris Steak House was fast and friendly. My wife and I enjoyed it. I recommend you experience it for yourself.

We were seated right away. Service was very attentive. Dinner was very good. Manager stopped by and asked about our experience. No complaints here.

The food is always phenomenal but the service we received from Peter and Hillary at the Parsippany Ruth's Chris was beyond great. They helped make our anniversary a wonderful celebration!

We took my grandmother for her 90th birthday and her steak came out like a hockey puck-she was very disappointed. My husband’s steak also came out wrong.

Well let me start out by saying I've been dining at this Ruth Chris location for about 10 years or more and I've always been satisfied with my experience here up until now. I won't let one bad experie...nce stop me from enjoying good food but I do think this review is worth letting people know and ultimately letting the restaurant know what things they need to improve on so that this doesn't happen again. So let's get started me and my wife began by ordering the Veal Osso Buco ravioli as our appetizer for our meals I ordered the cowboy ribeye and my wife ordered shrimp with Broccoli au gratin and macaroni and cheese. When the Ravioli came out we noticed that it had hair in it. So we told the waiter that we would like a new appetizer because of the hair not really in a complaining way. He responded with I'm very sorry i'll get you a new one. Shortly the manager came to apologize for what had taken place and offered to take care of our drinks and desserts. Which I was completely satisfied with. Later our food arrived and my steak was well done not medium like I requested but I didn't complain because I did not want to wait for another steak I just let the manager know that my steak wasn't cooked correctly but I'm gonna eat it anyway. So the bill came and as promised drinks and desserts were supposed to be covered but that wasn't the case because it was a different manager who told us this and his shift ended while we were dining. The new manager said the other manager told him that we would only cover the desserts I said that's incorrect and unacceptable for hair in my food and a steak that wasn't cooked properly. He then became very disrespectful and said I thought we were helping you by removing the desserts but I see that not good enough for you with a attitude and then stormed off. I got up followed him over to his station and said who the hell do you think you are talking to like that and then reminded him that I have spent 1,000s off dollars in here and he should watch his tone especially when today alone I was spending over 200.00 so in closing I think that the manager was very unprofessional and needs improvement on his customer service especially when people are spending top dollar. Like I said I will still dine here and I might even go today hopefully the same manager is not there today because he definitely needs some training on how to deal with customers I hope this was helpful. PS when you're spending over $200 on a meal you have the right to complain about something if it's wrong. You should not feel that you should just have to keep your mouth shut. See More
