Dave Ed from Neurosis' bass freshly armed with a set of Aluma Ps.

"Really loved the updated sound during the two hour and 45 minute sets I played. A couple spots where I used to be really careful on certain notes during quiet parts with my... chorus pedal on to not hit the string too hard for fear of a trebly clacking sound, GONE. Also seemed to even out some of the quieter notes on the neck, or at least was more forgiving when I dug in a little harder knowing I could do so without clacking. After the first sound check, not only did my sound guy comment on it sounding way better but so did our light guy (Damon, Scott's son, formerly my stage left roadie), and our stage right roadie, who I figured couldn't hear me so far away. They're all bassists as well. Perhaps it's time to upgrade the pickups in my Kicker bass as well, never had a problem with the sound (it's one of those (late 70's/early 80's?) aluminum neck Kramers), but I foresee that's an inevitable improvement as was proven this past weekend. - Dave" Meer weergeven
